Under the Veil I Rule (Amara) novel Chapter 551

Finnian's gaze paused on the photo. He looked up and asked, "Is this Fiona and Andrew?"

*So he calls his father by his first name too,* Amara thought, glancing at him before nodding.

"I think so. I have no idea how they ended up together. I want to look into it. Can you help me?"

"Of course."

As Andrew's son, Finnian was no stranger to his father's philandering.

He just never expected Andrew to get involved with Fiona.

His father had just returned to the country, and Fiona was a housewife. Logically, their paths shouldn't have crossed. It was strange.

"Thank you, then." Amara had expected him to agree, so she thanked him.

Finnian shook his head. "Andrew is my father. It's my responsibility. You don't have to thank me. How did you get here?"

When Amara said she drove, the mention of a car reminded Finnian of the photo of Andrew and Fiona kissing in one. A thought struck him. "The timestamp says this was taken in the early hours of this morning. Why were you out so late? Whose car were you in?"

The angle clearly showed it was taken from inside another vehicle, which was why he asked.

Amara marveled at his astuteness—he could deduce the shooting location from a single detail. "Keith came to see me..."

At the name "Keith," Finnian's body instantly tensed.

Amara glanced at him and continued, "We were talking in the car for a bit when another car pulled up. The rest is what you see in the photo."

The thought soured her mood, and she stood up. "Well, Mr. Everly, I should be going."

Finnian hadn't expected her to leave so soon and felt a pang of disappointment.

He didn't want her to go. *If only she could stay a little longer.*

He was beginning to cherish every moment they spent together. *What could he say to make her stay?*

As his mind raced, a knock sounded at the door. "Come in," Finnian said.

The door opened, and Liliana walked in. Her eyes widened for a fraction of a second upon seeing Amara, but she quickly composed herself. Clutching her small purse, she walked over to the sofa and sat down beside Finnian.
