She sent the address to Elysia and lay down to rest for a while. It wasn’t long before Elysia arrived.
Since Elysia was here, it wouldn’t be convenient to talk openly with Tina around. So, Amara booked a new room—leaving Tina in the original one—and went to wait for Elysia in the new room.
Soon, Elysia showed up, immediately grabbing Amara’s hand and asking what was going on.
Amara explained the situation, and Elysia sighed. “This is all Tina’s fault. After everything you’ve done for her, she’s gone and stirred up a huge mess.”
Amara agreed; it really was Tina’s doing. Now that Tina had exposed the matter, Amara’s life was about to be turned completely upside down.
But what was done was done—there was no use blaming Tina now. She sighed. “There’s nothing else I can do. I just have to stick to my story and deny everything.”
“That’s all you can do,” Elysia said. “But you’d better think about what you’ll say when Finnian comes to ask. He’ll definitely come looking for you.”
“I know.”
Just thinking about it made Amara anxious. She sprawled out on the bed, tired, and let out a long sigh.
When would Finnian show up? And what would she do when he did? She truly had no idea...
After Amara left, the Everly estate was in complete chaos.
The guests at the rehearsal dinner were utterly baffled. What on earth was happening? Was the baby Amara was carrying really Finnian’s?
Emma had originally planned everything out: she would wait until after the rehearsal dinner to release the photos of Amara at various bars, exposing her reckless lifestyle and turning public opinion against her. But now, with this sudden turn of events, Emma was at a total loss—she was furious with Edith.
Just then, Emma’s fourth sister-in-law stepped forward.
This was the same sister-in-law who had previously mocked Emma in the Everly family group chat over the Antonia situation.
Wearing a striking red dress, she looked at Emma with open disdain and said, her tone dripping with sarcasm, “Emma, you should really think before you speak. Amara and Finn were married, weren’t they? And just a few months ago, they were still husband and wife. So obviously, the baby is Finn’s.”
“What I can’t figure out is why, as soon as people heard Amara was pregnant, nobody thought of Finn. After all, they were married...”
