Under the Veil I Rule (Amara) novel Chapter 808

But hadn't the two of them divorced? Hell, Amara had practically been at the altar with Keith just a while ago, and Finnian had almost married Liliana!

What the hell was going on? Were they getting back together?

The crew watched the two of them with wide, ravenous eyes, absolutely salivating over the explosive drama.

Amara immediately tried to wrench her hand back, hissing, "Let go of me..."

She used every ounce of her strength to rip her arm away, but Finnian's grip was impossible to break. He hadn't been holding her tight initially, but the second she resisted, his fingers locked around her wrist like iron shackles. She was entirely trapped.

Infuriated, she gritted her teeth. "What is wrong with you? We are in public. Let go of me right now!"

The sheer audacity of his actions had her boiling. If there hadn't been a hundred cameras and eyes on them, she would have kicked him directly in the shin.

Keith stepped out of the breakroom. The moment he laid eyes on Finnian aggressively cornering Amara, his expression turned murderous.

He aggressively closed the distance. Catching Keith's approach in his periphery, Finnian's own features hardened into a brutal sneer.

Knowing the actor was about to interfere, Finnian firmly tugged Amara away, steering her swiftly toward the back of the set.

Realizing her frantic steps were falling behind, he seamlessly slid his arm around her waist, practically lifting her to match his pace. From an outsider's perspective, they looked devastatingly entangled. Amara's face flushed a deep crimson.

He dragged her into a secluded, dimly lit corridor, effectively severing them from the prying eyes of the crew.

Finnian finally released her, his intense gaze softening. "I didn't mean to ambush you out there. I just... I just missed you."

Amara glared at him, seething. "Your feelings are not my problem! Why would you pull a stunt like that and feed the rumor mill?"

His bold declaration to Antonia was already scandalous enough, but on a movie set, gossip spread like wildfire. She couldn't even fathom the horrific rumors that were about to dominate the studio.

"Why did you buy into this show?"

Pushed to her breaking point, she demanded the answer, her eyes blazing into his.

When he was bankrolling 'Whispers of Winter', he had constantly shown up for executive meetings, turning the set into his personal playground.

Now that he owned a massive stake in 'Letters from Yesterday', was he planning to shadow her every single day?
