Kevin chuckled. "Hearing you say that puts my mind at ease. In my eyes, you'll always be my real granddaughter."

As they chatted, a knock echoed at the door, and Hogan stepped into the room.

Hogan hadn't expected Amara to be there. He raised an eyebrow before walking over to talk to Kevin.

Seeing this, Amara quietly slipped out, leaving the two men to catch up.

She didn't plan on leaving the Everly Estate immediately; she at least needed to say goodbye to Kevin before taking off. Wandering over to the study on the first floor, she spaced out while staring at the potted plants lining the wall.

"Ms. Sullivan, you're back."

A voice snapped her out of her daze. Amara turned to see Tina standing nearby, wearing an apron and holding a vacuum cleaner, looking at her with a hint of joy.

Tina genuinely liked Amara. Recently, she had occasionally gone to the villa to clean for her, but since Amara was always on set, they rarely ran into each other.

Tina was a girl with a luminous skin. While her features weren't strikingly gorgeous, she possessed a gentle, serene charm with a touch of cuteness. She was the type of person who grew more beautiful the longer you looked at her.

Seeing her lifted Amara's spirits. She flashed her a smile. "I came back to see Kevin. How's your studying going lately? Are you still planning on taking the college entrance exams next year?"

Tina nodded, her eyes lighting up at the mention of the exams.

"I've already decided which schools to apply to. I think I have about a seventy percent chance of getting in. If I miss the mark, I've got backup options ready. Ms. Sullivan, could you take a look at the schools for me? Let me know if these are good choices."

Tina pulled out her phone, showing Amara the list of colleges she had picked.
