Reading his message, Charlene found she couldn't muster any anger. After all, she had also missed an opportunity to finalize things because of her own work.
She didn't reply.

"Good evening."
Charlene nodded. "It's been a while."

He had been following the news of her divorce and knew that today was the last day of their deliberation period. That meant she and Thorne were still legally married. They had failed to go through with it again.
He rarely spent time with Thorne or Vesta's circle anymore, so he wasn't as up-to-date on their affairs. Besides, Thorne's constant global travel was his norm, so he hadn't thought much of his frequent trips over the past couple of months.
He remarked, "Moran mentioned Thorne might not be back for a few more days."

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
