With Jasmine on break and bored, she decided against a trip and instead went with Thorne to The Henderson Group the next morning. It was common knowledge throughout the company that Thorne was married and had a child, and some employees had even seen Jasmine on previous visits. Most people had gotten so used to seeing Thorne as a bachelor that they often forgot he was a father. Besides, his supposed relationship with Vesta was a much more widely known topic of conversation in the office than his marriage. As several people shot furtive glances her way, Jasmine remained completely unfazed, calmly focused on her tablet.
Thorne, who was on a call, noticed a stray lock of her hair and reached out to smooth it back into place. The simple, affectionate gesture made it clear to everyone watching just how good their relationship was. Within minutes, the office grapevine was buzzing with the news that Thorne's daughter had arrived.
When Charlene, Stewart Ferguson, and Gaylord Hearst arrived at The Henderson Group and heard the news, both Charlene and Stewart paused imperceptibly. Gaylord had a similar reaction. He knew Thorne was married and had a daughter, but he had never actually met the girl.
Stewart leaned in and whispered to Charlene, "Don't tell me... we're about to run into them, are we?" Before she could answer, he added, "It might be a good thing if we do. That way..." their relationship could finally come to light. The thought of the shockwave it would send through the company was thrilling.
Charlene didn't say a word. She wondered if Thorne knew she was coming to The Henderson Group today. Although he hadn't seemed concerned about their connection being exposed during their last two encounters, she had to ask herself... was he really that unworried? Even if he brought Jasmine to the office, he would probably have someone keep a close eye on her to make sure they didn't cross paths.
Their colleagues didn't overhear Stewart's whisper, simply assuming from their closeness that they had a strong relationship. Just then, someone at The Henderson Group brought up the topic of Mr. Henderson's ex-wife. Every time Jasmine appeared, it sparked a new round of speculation about the mysterious woman.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
