With Thorne and Vesta's relationship rapidly thawing, the atmosphere among the Hawkins and Spencer families was practically jubilant, despite the severity of Vesta's injury.
The following afternoon, Jasmine visited the hospital right after school. Thorne was still tied up with work, so his driver dropped her off.
Running into the room and seeing Vesta's pale complexion, the little girl's face crumpled with worry. "Ms. Hawkins, I saw the video! How are you feeling? Are you better? Why didn't you tell me you got hurt so badly right away?"
Vesta offered a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, sweetheart. I'm already doing much better. I didn't want to scare you, which is why I specifically told your dad to hold off on telling you."
Vesta seamlessly transitioned to asking about Jasmine's day at school, and the sterile room was soon filled with cheerful giggles.
"You know," Vesta said softly, "I just realized it's been a while since we had a good chat like this. Having you come all the way here to visit me and keep me company makes me so happy."
Hearing that sent a sharp pang of guilt through Jasmine. Ever since she had grown closer to Charlene, she had become incredibly attached to her mother, rarely taking the initiative to share her day with Vesta anymore.

She had been buried in work for a solid week, finally catching a break when the weekend rolled around.
On Saturday, she slept in. After making herself breakfast, she suddenly noticed how painfully quiet the house felt.
Over the past two or three months, whenever she had a day off, Jasmine would either be bursting through the front doors of the Ross residence or calling her phone to chatter endlessly about everything and nothing.

Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...

I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
