By the time Charlene arrived, Helena and Irma were already seated.
Just as Irma waved Charlene over to take a seat, her phone began to ring.
Whatever was said on the other end made Irma's expression darken instantly. A moment later, she frowned, muttered an "Understood," and hung up.
"That was Thorne," Irma said, looking at Charlene and Helena with an apologetic smile. "He was on his way, but an emergency came up at work. He won't be joining us for lunch after all."
Both Helena and Charlene politely insisted it wasn't a problem.
And they meant it. They had only come to accept Irma's goodwill, and they were genuinely thrilled for her that Lloyd was awake.
After the meal, Charlene checked the time and headed back to PrimeStar Technologies.
Though Lloyd had regained consciousness, Charlene didn't visit the hospital again.
With Stewart Ferguson out of town, Charlene spent the next two days buried in her work.
On the third day, Stewart returned.
They grabbed lunch together that afternoon to catch up on their upcoming projects.
They had just pulled up to the restaurant and stepped out of the car when they bumped right into the Hawkins and Spencer families.
The Hawkins and Spencers scowled the moment they saw them.
Stewart noticed the glares and muttered, "What's their problem?"
The last time he saw them, they were practically glowing with arrogance, thrilled that the Hendersons had finally accepted Vesta.
Why the long faces now?
Leah wanted to ask if Thorne had mentioned when Vesta could finally visit the hospital.
After all, Vesta hadn't seen the Hendersons once since the accident.
It wasn't that she didn't want to go. But she had heard Irma was an emotional wreck in the days following the crash. Since Irma already despised both of their families, it would have been a terrible idea for Vesta to show her face.
Thinking about it made Leah furious.
Word on the street was that Charlene and Thorne had been talking a lot since the accident. Because Charlene and her grandmother had stepped up to care for Irma, Thorne was treating Charlene with an infuriating amount of respect.
In a way, Thorne owed Charlene a favor now.
Under these circumstances, even if Lloyd recovered, Thorne couldn't exactly drag Charlene straight back to city hall for a divorce certificate.

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Well cockroaches it seems you've reached your final destination at which your nasty colony will be destroyed! Way to go Stewart!!!...
Now ı want to know how Thorne will stay silent with her daughter there and people talking bad about her mother....
Oh god! It's getting super boring and dragging. Lost all the interest now. A warning to new readers, avoid reading this....
761 chapters and they still couldn't divorce...
Is the universe against the divorce now?...
It is now mind numbing excruciating and irritating in the Chinese version where Thorne is ambiguous and now openly again intimate with Vesta, she leans and mutters sweetly holding his arm! And her clan are viciously demeaning Charlene while Thorne is within hearing distance. There is no justice no reparations for Charlene. Utter disheartening this novel is now...
Thorne must have bashed his head somewhere....
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
