Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne) novel Chapter 739

She naturally had to leave as well.

She looked down at Minnie. "I'm going to take Great-Grandma Helena home. Why don't you stay here and keep Great-Grandma Irma company?"

Minnie nodded obediently. "Okay."

Charlene and Helena returned to the Ross family home. Around ten o'clock that night, Charlene stepped out of the shower and saw a text from Thorne sent a few minutes prior. It read that Claudia had woken up and was officially out of the woods.

As for Lloyd, he was still in a coma, and the doctors couldn't say when he would wake.

Charlene read the message, typed a brief [Got it], and tossed her phone aside.

While she cared about the Henderson family's situation, it wasn't her place to overstep. So, the next morning, she headed into the office for work as usual.

Helena would carve out time to visit Irma.

Charlene made sure to call Irma to check in on her as well.

Thorne was splitting his time between overnight hospital shifts and running his company. He was busy through Saturday, so Minnie stayed with Charlene.

With Lloyd's condition still uncertain, Irma stubbornly spent most of her days at the hospital, refusing to leave.

Over the weekend, Charlene accompanied Minnie to the hospital to visit Lloyd and Claudia. It gave her a chance to check in on Irma, too.

Although Claudia was conscious, her injuries were severe, and she was looking at a long hospital stay.

When she saw Charlene bring Minnie in to visit, she offered a polite nod.

Lloyd remained unconscious. By Sunday evening, Charlene took Minnie back to the Ross residence.

First thing Monday morning, right after waking up, Charlene received a call from Irma.

Through tears of joy, Irma announced that Lloyd had finally opened his eyes. He had fallen back asleep shortly after, but he was officially past the critical phase.
