The following morning, Thorne and Vesta arrived at the venue, but they were already preparing to leave and head back to Starfall City.
Corinne knew their original itinerary had blocked out two full days for the event.
Hearing that they were cutting their trip short, Corinne did not try to persuade them to stay. Instead, she glanced over at Charlene, who remained the center of everyone's attention, and scoffed. "Since you and Thorne have already accomplished what you came for, leaving early is for the best. It'll save you the headache of looking at certain people."
Vesta gave a soft murmur of agreement.
Dalton and Raleigh had also caught wind of the rumor that Vesta and Thorne had checked out of their hotel in the middle of the night and relocated just to avoid running into Charlene.
Now, hearing that Vesta was leaving early, Raleigh made a point to come over and say his goodbyes.
He figured Vesta was likely too distressed over Charlene stealing the spotlight to stick around. Otherwise, why would they suddenly bail on such a prime networking opportunity when their schedule was already set?
He didn't try to talk her into staying. As a mere bystander, seeing Charlene receive so much praise and admiration after all the underhanded things she had done made his blood boil. He could only imagine the heartbreak and isolation Vesta felt as the actual victim.
"Let's catch up when we get back to Starfall City, alright?" he offered.
Vesta smiled and nodded. "Sounds good."
Not wanting to overstay his welcome, Raleigh turned and walked away.
It was only yesterday that Corinne learned Raleigh was the one who had originally gotten Vesta her job at PrimeStar Technologies.
When Raleigh had come over to catch up with Vesta the day prior, Corinne hadn't thought much of it. But now, watching his retreating figure, she nudged Vesta playfully in the ribs. "That old college buddy of yours seems to have a thing for you."
Vesta frowned. "Don't talk nonsense."
Vesta didn't say a word, but her knuckles turned white as she squeezed her water bottle.
Right then, Thorne walked over. "Finished saying goodbye to your friends?"
Vesta offered a tight smile. "Yes, let's go."
Thorne nodded. After a brief parting word to Corinne, the two of them turned and exited the venue.
Charlene and Stewart paid absolutely no attention to their early departure. They hadn't even noticed until someone in their circle tried to track Thorne down for a business chat, only to discover that the couple had already left.
"Weren't they supposed to stay for the full two days? Why did they leave early?"
"Word is that Mr. Henderson's girlfriend was in a terrible mood. It seems he left early just to comfort her."

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Well cockroaches it seems you've reached your final destination at which your nasty colony will be destroyed! Way to go Stewart!!!...
Now ı want to know how Thorne will stay silent with her daughter there and people talking bad about her mother....
Oh god! It's getting super boring and dragging. Lost all the interest now. A warning to new readers, avoid reading this....
761 chapters and they still couldn't divorce...
Is the universe against the divorce now?...
It is now mind numbing excruciating and irritating in the Chinese version where Thorne is ambiguous and now openly again intimate with Vesta, she leans and mutters sweetly holding his arm! And her clan are viciously demeaning Charlene while Thorne is within hearing distance. There is no justice no reparations for Charlene. Utter disheartening this novel is now...
Thorne must have bashed his head somewhere....
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
