Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne) novel Chapter 764

Over the last two days, they had run into Raleigh a handful of times. He either treated them like complete strangers, flat-out ignoring their existence, or he shot Charlene looks full of disgust and mockery.

Given his blatant hostility, Charlene and Stewart weren't about to lower themselves to try and win his favor.

Because of this, despite crossing paths multiple times, they hadn't exchanged a single word.

Tonight was no exception.

Acting as though they had never met him, Charlene and Stewart walked right past Raleigh without breaking their stride.

It was past midnight by the time Charlene finally got home.

After a quick shower and a solid night's sleep, she woke up and headed back to PrimeStar Technologies to tackle her usual workload.

She hadn't seen Jasmine in several days, but her daughter knew all about her business trip and when she was scheduled to return.

Right around noon, she received a call from Jasmine, who eagerly announced she would be heading over to the Ross family home after school. "Mom, you've been working so hard lately. Can you come pick me up early today?"

Charlene realized it truly had been a while since she had done the school run.

Her busy schedule had made it difficult to stay in touch.

"Alright, sweetheart," she promised softly. "I'll come pick you up."

After chatting for a few more minutes, she ended the call.

That afternoon, keeping her promise, she grabbed her car keys, left the office early, and drove to the school to pick up Jasmine.

Jasmine was thrilled, clinging to her mother and begging her to cook something delicious.

Charlene happily agreed. Not long after they arrived back at the house, she tied on an apron and got to work in the kitchen.

Meanwhile.

Not to mention, even putting Vesta aside, Corinne and Thorne were fairly well-acquainted. She practically belonged to their social circle anyway.

"Perfect," Corinne beamed. "I'd love to sit here. Mind scooting over a bit, Moran?"

Although she addressed Moran, her eyes were locked squarely on Granger.

It finally clicked for Moran—she was here specifically for Granger.

Moran let out a quiet cough, flashing a knowing, teasing grin as he instantly stood up. "Sure thing! Even if it was an inconvenience, I'd make it work for you."

Granger remained dead silent, his expression an unreadable mask.

Moran casually relocated to the empty seat next to Thorne, raising a suggestive eyebrow at him. It was incredibly entertaining to watch someone so brazenly pursue the normally untouchable Granger.

Thorne seemed to share the sentiment. A faint smile touched his lips as he watched with keen interest while Corinne sat down and eagerly tried to force a conversation out of a completely disinterested Granger.
