Chapter 298 Ava Enters the Spotlight
As she spoke, Naomi leaned in closer to Ava and started talking about the earlier dance. Zoey and Noelle didn’t really get that kind of stuff, so they dragged over a couple of small stools and listened quietly.
Soon, Malory called again on video.
She looked completely different from before. The earlier sadness and frustration were gone. Now she was full of excitement as she looked at Ava and said loudly, “Ava, you were amazing! You’re basically my hero. You seriously saved me!”
Malory held a hand to her chest. Even though Ava’s performance had already ended, she still felt worked up. Her heart kept pounding
“Ava, I seriously think your dance could make it into the top three in the Stellar Network voting. I’m going to start reaching out to people right now and get you more votes!”
Ava quickly waved her hands. “Malory, you don’t need to do that. I don’t care about rankings. As long as I helped you and didn’t make things worse for you, that’s enough.”
Malory was fired up. “Ava, if I say you’ve got what it takes, then you do!”
Ava let out a helpless laugh. “Malory, there are so many people on Stellar Network. You really don’t need to go through all that trouble for me.”
Malory rolled up her sleeves with a proud look on her face. “Ava, don’t underestimate me. I’m a hardcore fangirl. I even made it to lead fan status for a top actor. I’ve got some pull in my fan group! Just wait, I’m going to call my girls and have them hype you up!”
Right after that, she hung up without waiting. She already had a clear goal in mind. She was going to push Ava’s performance into the top three and mess up Tylissa’s plans.
After Tylissa stole her choreography, Malory had only just started to realize what she was really trying to do.
Is she going after those three spots?
Otherwise, why would she put on three different performances?
Wouldn’t it have been enough to just represent our class with a zither performance?
Tylissa, you might be good, but now that Ava’s in the mix, it’s not going to be that easy for you to win.
Ava looked at the screen after it went dark, feeling a bit helpless. She glanced at the others and let out a small sigh
Zoey, Naomi, and Noelle all looked at her and spoke at the same time. “Ava, let’s go for the top three.”
“I’m going to reach out to people I know right now!”
