Chapter 66
Adres had no denkers done the duty of the Reforge feature
She thought that maybe the calendar was never meant to be complete, so the Reforge feature actually made it more det than before. That was already pretty cool
The Survival Calendar currently showed five stages, including Spring, Summer, Heavy Rain/Acid Rain, Autumn, and
Right now, it was the Summer stage, and the most obvious thing was the high temperature.
The next stage was either heavy rain or acid rain, and there were only two days left. She needed to hurry and get the Sky Dome from the trash collection quest reward.
Autumn: Everything dries up. Food gets scarce. The animals start going berserk]
[Winter: Freezing cold.]
That was all she could see for now. No info on what came after. Wish I could find some other calendars later. Andrea thought
Andrea sent the calendar update to the Happy Days chat group, hoping it would give everyone a heads-up.
When everyone saw the calendar, the mood instantly turned somber
For a long time, no one said a word.
Even Jason didn’t bother asking how she got the info about the next stages.
Andrea: [All we can do is try our best to survive, and live a little better while we’re at it.
[Since we’re stuck in this crappy survival game, we might as well make it count.]
Jason: [You said it, boss. We’re here anyway, so let’s show them we’re not surviving/but really living.]
Gwen (Seeing you all so fired up puts my mind at ease. There’s nothing to be afraid of. Even if the Grim Reaper shows up. I’ll try to break his neck.)
Denice: You got my support!]
Domimic: Kight behind you!!
Andrea saw Gwen’s tough-as-nails attitude and knew she had nothing to worry about.
Honestly, she felt like even if the world ended, Gwen would still try to fight it off.
The group was still pretty confident about the future. The chat quickly went back to its usual vibe.
Andrea asked Dominic to subtly drop hints about the next stage, so the others would catch on.
Whether it would work or not was up to luck.

Someone wrote: [What’s so scary about acid rain? Make your hut sturdier, and you’ll be fine. If it’s heavy rain, at least we won’t run out of water!]
A person wrote: [They said it could be heavy rain or acid rain. Don’t freak out over half the info, okay?] Another wrote: [What’s the difference? It’s a survival game. If something’s possible, you can bet it’ll happen!]
Someone wrote: [You guys are so naive. You believe anything you hear.]
Someone else wrote: [Yeah, maybe someone’s using this as a gimmick to make some quick cash.]
A person wrote: [Look at you, actually buying into it. Capitalist conspiracy theory, huh?]
Another wrote: [Seriously, you see everything as shady. If you don’t believe it, that’s fine, but don’t trash/other people.]
Someone wrote: [Exactly. People are trying to help. Whether you believe it or not, that’s your choice/Either way, better start stocking up on stuff that can handle acid rain.]
Andrea wasn’t the least bit surprised by those people.
She wasn’t mad either. She never expected everyone to buy it.
Then, Dustin knocked on the door.
“Andrea, there’s a player island up ahead. But it looks kind of weird,” Dustin said.
Andrea was confused.
What does he mean by “weird”?’ Andrea wondered.
She threw on her UV suit and stepped out of the bedroom.
Looking out, she saw a pretty big island drifting toward her.
Andrea frowned. ‘Looks like trouble’s coming my way again,’ she thought.
This time: Andrea didn’t even think about avoiding it. She knew she’d run into more players sooner or later, and she couldn’t keep dodging every time things got messy.
Most of the time, trouble would find her even if she didn’t go looking for it. She might as well deal with it head-on when it showed up.
Besides, not anyone could set foot on her island.
Andrea plopped herself down at the entrance, popped open a huge sun umbrella, and waited for whatever was coming
With the bedroon’s cool air blowing out and her UV suit on, she barely felt the heat
She kicked back with a glass of watermelon juice, totally unbothered

She sat under her umbrella, sipping juice, looking fresh and relaxed.
Meanwhile, even with some shade, they were drenched in sweat.
