Chapter 332
Tim and Matt weren’t the only ones counting the days and waiting for Ashley’s divorce; Zark was too.
So, besides Tim, Zark also knew that Thursday was the day that Ashley and Chase went to get their divorce decree.
He often traveled for business lately.
He specifically rushed back in the early hours of Thursday.
After resting at home for a few hours, around ten in the morning, after handling some matters, he still couldn’t resist calling Ethan.
Tve been busy lately, and it’s been quite a while since I had a meal with you and Chase. How about we call Chase and grab lunch together?”
Ethan said, “I’m fine with it, but Chase doesn’t have time. He went on a business trip abroad a few days ago, and he’s not back yet.”
Zark’s heart tightened:”Chase… went on a business trip?”
So that means they didn’t go to get their divorce decree today?
He hadn’t contacted Chase or Tanya much lately, so he called Ethan, actually wanting to inquire about Chase and Ashley’s divorce situation.
If they had divorced, he could have today…
He didn’t expect…
Then when will Chase probably be back?”
Ethan wasn’t really as concerned about Chase and Ashley’s divorce as he was initially.
He really didn’t know that Chase and Ashley’s waiting period had ended.

Hearing Zark ask this, he didn’t think much of it and said, “I don’t know, you know he’s always especially busy around this time of year, who knows how long he’ll be busy abroad this time.”
Zark lowered his eyes and said nothing more.
After hanging up the phone, he looked at Ashley’s number on his phone, originally thinking he’d have a chance to call today, but now it seemed he’d have to wait a bit longer.
Busy times always pass especially quickly.
Friday afternoon, while Ashley was working, Sam called her, saying his school started summer vacation today, and since Chase wasn’t home, he wanted
to come and live with her.
Ashley refused.
From what Chase said, when he called her a few days ago, he had already been on a business trip for a few days, and she had thought he’d be back soon.
Unexpectedly, nearly another week passed, and he still hadn’t returned.
After Sam’s vacation started, he stayed home alone for a few days, but couldn’t bear it anymore, so on Wednesday, he called Ashley again: “Mom, Dad has been on a business trip for a long time, I don’t like staying home alone, can I come over to you?”
Listening to his disheartened voice, Ashley tightened her grip on the phone slightly, and after a while, she replied: “Mom will be home after work, you can go to your maternal grandmother’s house and wait first.”
Hearing that Ashley finally had time, Sam became happy, and immediately packed his things and went to the Jones Family’s house.
The Jones Family naturally knew that Chase’s business trip had caused his divorce from Ashley to be repeatedly postponed.
After Sam arrived at the Jones Family’s house, during dinner, the old lady couldn’t help but ask Sam:”Sam, roughly when will your dad be back?” Sam didn’t know the adults’ complicated thoughts.
He ate while honestly telling Amanda:”Dad said he’s not sure yet, but when I called Dad yesterday, Dad said he probably won’t be able to make it back for my birthday.”
Amanda heard this and frowned.

The waiting period has almost passed a week, Chase’s return date is still uncertain. Don’t tell me he won’t be able to make it back until the final decision period ends, right?
If that’s the case, then if they want to divorce, won’t they have to wait for another waiting period?
Ashley heard this and also frowned.
