“Get someone to open the door.”

Rebecca said to Camryn.

Camryn hesitated for a moment, “She’s been very unstable

lately. Seeing strangers might…”

“Open the door.”

This time it was Madeleine who spoke, her voice soft but firm.

Camryn didn’t know what they were really up to, but he could

see they didn’t intend to harm Zoe. After a moment’s thought,

he went to get a nurse to open the door.

Rebecca didn’t stop her anymore. She turned to call a doctor,

who came and gave Zoe a sedative.

Before leaving, she saw Camryn was unwilling to go, so she impatiently went over and grabbed the fabric of his shoulder.

Once everyone was out, Madeleine’s gaze fell on Zoe again.
