Chapter 242
“My mistake. You haven’t seen me, but I’ve seen you.”
Isabella was completely confused and turned to look at Bradley
strangely.
Bradley waved his hand. “Don’t mind her. I have no idea what
goes on in her head all day. Let’s go, we’re heading over.”
While Isabella went to the car to get her bag, Rebecca pulled Bradley aside.
“What’s the deal? Are you really off the market?”
Bradley rolled his eyes and mimicked the tone she had just
used.
“None of your business.”
“Tsk… You’re something else.”
“What’s so interesting about it?”
“Your taste did a complete 180. You’re over your thing for older
women now?”

Bradley’s face darkened.
“Rebecca!
Will you go mute if you say one less word?”
Rebecca loved seeing him flustered. When she was with
Roderick, she could never beat him when it came to being
sharp–tongued.
But against Bradley, she was more than a match.
Isabella came over with her bag, saw the sparks flying between
them, and came over to investigate with a curious look.
“What’s wrong? What’s wrong? What are you guys talking
about?”
“It’s nothing. She’s crazy. Let’s go.”
Bradley led Isabella ahead, deliberately leaving Rebecca behind.
Rebecca chuckled for a while, not angry at all, and just followed
behind them.
These two…
They’re walking together, so how come there’s absolutely no

romantic chemistry?
Rebecca narrowed her eyes, then her lips curled into a smile.
What a great opportunity for a bet. I’ll go find Madeleine later
and trick some money out of her.
When they arrived at the private mountain lodge and saw
Madeleine, she indeed swept her gaze over them with an
expression of someone ready to watch the drama unfold.
“You’re here! Haha, welcome, welcome.”
Madeleine grinned, her eyes sweeping over Isabella, and
gestured to Bradley, “Hey, Bradley, aren’t you going to introduce
us? This young lady is…”
“Hi! I’m Isabella. You can just call me Isabella.”
“Oh, Isabella, Isabella, nice name, haha. Are you Bradley’s…”
“Um, I’m…”
Isabella scratched her head and shot Bradley a look.
Bradley quickly pulled Rebecca over to use as a human shield.
“By the way, aren’t you having a thing going on with that

Professor Shaw? How far have you two gotten?”
“Bradley, are you insane?!”
Rebecca was so angry she lifted her leg to kick him.
Bradley quickly dodged with a cheeky grin.
Kevin came out from inside with a plate of washed fruit for
everyone, just in time to hear what was said.
“Mom, what does ‘having a thing going on‘ mean?”
“Oh, Kev, you’re here.”
Madeleine’s mouth twitched awkwardly, and she quickly shot a
glare at Bradley and the others to stop them from talking
nonsense.
She took the fruit from Kevin’s hands. “Mommy will explain it to
you later. Now, go say hi.”
“Hi, Mr. Dylan North. Hi, Auntie Rebecca. Hi, sis.”
Bradley stared wide–eyed.
“How come we’re an uncle and an auntie, but she’s a sister?”
Chapter 242
“Hmm, is that wrong?”
Kevin tilted his head in confusion.
“But Mommy said I have to call all the pretty girls ‘sister‘.”
Then he looked at Rebecca and added, “Auntie Rebecca is
different. She’s a grown–up, like Mommy and Daddy.”
The little guy’s logical words were so adorable that Isabella’s
heart melted.
She quickly crouched down and stroked Kevin’s little head.
“Actually, I’m a grown–up like your parents, so you should call
me ‘auntie‘ too.”
“Oh… is that right?”
Kevin frowned, thought for a moment, and then asked, unwilling
to give up, “But can’t I call you sister?”
Hearing this, Madeleine laughed helplessly and covered her
face.
How was her son such a flirt at this young age? What would he
