Welcome to Hell

Chapter 136

He agreed, and we headed for the boat.

We boarded.

As soon as we were settled, the boat began to move.

I saw Fox wrapping his arms tightly around Tony, tears streaming down his face as he hid against his partner’s shoulder.

The image was raw and beautiful.

I turned to Elijah.

“Are you okay?”

He took a deep breath, wrapping his arms around my waist.

“Yeah. It still feels like a dream. Thank you for everything, love.”

I kissed his hair, feeling warmth bloom in my chest.

Nothing else mattered.

We were together.

And finally free.

I held Elijah from behind as we watched the prison shrink in the distance, its shadowy silhouette

fading into the horizon. The wind played with his hair as he nestled deeper into my embrace.

“We’re free, my love,” I whispered in his ear, a soft smile curling my lips. “Now we can focus only on

  1. us. I’ll show you the world. We’ll get married and do everything we ever dreamed of. Anything you

want.”

He let out a soft laugh, filled with hope.

“I’ll love everything you plan for us.”

He tilted his face to the sky.

The stars reflected in his eyes, glowing as if they held the universe itself.

I kissed his hair, knowing that this moment was more precious than any treasure I’d ever possessed.

Chapter 136

“Your eyes…” I said, my voice thick with emotion, they look like stars. No… they’re like an entire galaxy. Deep and endless.”

He smiled.

“But that galaxy… it only looks at you, love.”

I pulled him into a gentle kiss.

We stayed in each other’s arms, in silence, feeling the breeze and the boat’s rhythm.

Before we realized it, the shore was near. The boat docked, and we disembarked.

Two black trucks were waiting for us.

I looked at Tony and gave a subtle nod. He immediately understood and headed for the first vehicle.

Fox approached us with a restrained smile.

“Well… I guess this is where we part ways, newbie,” he said, his voice tight with emotion.

They laughed, but the wet shimmer in their eyes gave away how much this goodbye hurt.

“I just want to thank you for being my friend, Fox. You helped me so much. Thank you for everything. I’m going to miss you,” Elijah said, every word sincere. “And from the bottom of my heart, I hope you both find happiness.”

Fox nodded, smiling.

“I should be the one thanking you for putting up with me,” he laughed. “Thanks, Elijah. Your presence changed everything for me. I hope you and the boss find happiness too. Good luck.”

They hugged tightly.

Elijah then took my hand, while Fox reached for Tony’s.

I gave Tony a brief nod, which he returned with a soft smile.
