Welcome to Hell
Chapter 137
Elijah Vaughn.
Five Years Later
It still feels unreal.
I close my eyes for a moment, letting the breeze tousle my hair as I breathe in the salty scent of the
sea.
We’re on a small island in the Maldives, where Dante brought me to celebrate our fifth wedding
anniversary.
Yes five years since we left the hell that was Inferno Bay.
Five years since we started over from scratch.
So much has happened since then… and at the same time, it feels like it all passed in the blink of an
eye.
After we left the prison, we made our marriage official at the nearest registry office, just as he
promised.
It was simple but meaningful.
Right after that, he took me to see the world.

entire night just for us to stargaze.
I cried when I saw Saturn’s rings.
And he just held me, whispering that every star in the sky still wasn’t enough to match the love he
felt for me.
Today, we live in a big house with glass windows overlooking the sea. We have two cats and one dog“a spoiled Great Dane who truly believes he’s the size of a cat.
He’s knocked Dante down more than once” and mind you, my husband is over two meters tall.
Sure, he’s strong, the most imposing man I’ve ever known… but even hell can’t withstand a ninety-

kilo dog jumping on you with too much love to hold back.
My husband has changed so much.
He chose to step back from his business, delegated most of it to trusted men, and decided to focus on living.
On living with me.
Tony and Fox?
They’re together and happy.
They travel a lot, but we always keep in touch.
Sometimes we meet up in different countries just to miss each other a little less.
