“I know, you’ve got some weird complex about drawing attention. You need to get over that.” Celine understood her mindset perfectly.

Kaia looked down, contemplating for a moment. Then, she reached out and lightly brushed her fingers against a bold, vibrant magenta evening gown. “You’re right. I shouldn’t box myself in so strictly. I need to be brave enough to try new things. I deserve to feel beautiful without apologizing for it.”

“Yes! Exactly! Know your worth!” Celine gave her an enthusiastic thumbs–up. “We women need to put ourselves first. If you have 100 percent of your love, give 80 percent to yourself and throw the scraps to the guys. You always acted like you weren’t good enough for Finnian, and look what happened.
