Sloane saw the two men crying in each other's arms and felt a pang of pity for them.
The whole family went out to sea, and only two came back.
Those pirates were despicable; they needed to be eradicated!
Officer Levi waited for them to finish crying before saying, "If you're feeling a bit better, come with me to identify the bodies."
Sterling wiped his nose and tears. "Okay. We'll go together."
Sloane said to Sebastian, "You're heavily injured. You shouldn't go."
Sebastian cried, "No, this is a big deal. I can't let my brother face it alone. Besides, I'm feeling much better now."
Sloane had no choice but to let them go.
After Officer Levi took the two to the Island Security Command, Sloane returned to her clinic.
She temporarily forgot about getting her birth control pills.
At noon, Logan asked her to have lunch by the beach.
The food was takeout from the cafeteria. There was a gazebo by the beach, and sitting there eating while enjoying the ocean breeze was incredibly relaxing.
Logan kept his eyes on Sloane while he ate.
Sloane's face flushed under his intense gaze. She teased, "Why do you keep staring at me?"
"Because you're beautiful."
He picked up a fish ball and held it to her lips. "Want a bite?"
Sloane wasn't used to being fed. "No."
"It's not the first time I've fed you." He was stubborn, insisting she eat it.
She had no choice but to open her mouth.
"Now that you've eaten my food, you're mine."
Sloane mumbled around the food, "You're so childish. Should I spit it back out for you?"
He actually leaned in.
Sloane playfully pushed the food toward his mouth.
He bit half of it and pushed the other half back to her.
This intimate gesture, something only couples did, made Sloane's face burn bright red.
"Logan, you're gross!"
