Besides, she hadn't given up on the idea of setting Naomi up with Lennon. She just felt that a great girl like Naomi shouldn't jump straight into marriage talks; she deserved to experience the fun of dating in college, which was why she had arranged tonight's gathering.
Seeing that Naomi wasn't interested, she certainly wouldn't push it again.
Even though the guys in front of her seemed harmless, she didn't dare entrust Naomi to them.
"I'd better take Naomi back myself."
Patricia gave Luther an apologetic look. Luther frowned and was about to speak when Patricia suddenly froze, staring in one direction, and mumbled, "Mr. Spencer?"
Everyone at the table followed her gaze.
There stood a man who was completely different from them.
He was dressed in a business suit, and his aura was incredibly sharp and powerful.
He merely glanced at them, and they all felt a chill run down their spines.
This man was also handsome, more like a domineering CEO from a drama than the actors who played them.
"I'm here to pick up Naomi."
Lennon glanced at Naomi's flushed cheeks, frowned, and reached out to take her from Patricia.
"Did Naomi send you her location?"
Patricia wasn't stupid. If Naomi hadn't sent him the message, there was no way Lennon, no matter how resourceful, could have found this place.
"Yes."
Lennon's gaze swept over the men at the table, his voice low. "Are you coming back with us?"
Patricia was about to refuse, but Lennon had an unapproachable air about him. She worried that refusing might anger him, so she nodded obediently. "Then I'll have to trouble you, Mr. Spencer."
