It was a picture of Naomi and Lennon from behind, sitting close together.

Their shoulders were touching, and Lennon's head was tilted slightly toward Naomi, creating an incredibly intimate scene.

“Oh my god, shipping them is as easy as breathing!”

“I told you there was something going on between them! Have you noticed that since Naomi started, our boss has been here more often than in the entire time since the studio opened?”

“He’s obviously just using work as an excuse to see his girlfriend. I saw through it from the start.”

“Me too…”

“But it looks like Naomi hasn’t caught on yet.”

The group’s excitement deflated a little.

“It’s okay, it’s just a matter of time. I refuse to believe anyone can resist our boss' charm.”

“Woohoo! To celebrate this future couple, I’m going to design a new level in the game…”

Naomi had no idea she and Lennon were the hot topic in the conference room. After Jacob left, they had naturally moved apart. Lennon approved of her ideas but offered some suggestions for improving the details.

Naomi noted them all down. When she looked up, she found Lennon staring at her. He looked like he wanted to say something, but he just pursed his lips and remained silent.

Naomi grew curious. “Is something wrong? Is there anything else that needs to be revised?”

Lennon said, “You should keep your distance from the people in the office.”

“Huh?” Naomi was confused. “Why? They all seem really nice.”

They might have been a bit overly enthusiastic and acted strangely at times, but Naomi felt they got along well.

At the very least, the work environment was excellent.

“Just do as I say.”

Seeing that Lennon didn't want to elaborate, Naomi nodded to show she understood.

Lennon then stood up and returned to his office.

Until Friday. Naomi learned that the studio was having a team-building event the next day, partly to welcome her as a new member. So, instead of going back to campus, she texted Patricia and went straight home to the Gonzalez residence.

Lennon had left the studio early that day, so it was Steven who drove Naomi home.

Just as she was about to get out of the car, Zebulon suddenly rushed out, yanked Naomi from the passenger seat, and then started furiously banging on the driver’s side window.

Steven, completely bewildered, rolled down the window only to be grabbed by the collar and half-dragged out.

“So you’re the guy who’s been driving Naomi around every day?”

“Who are you, where are you from, and what’s your family situation? What gives you the right to be with Naomi?”

Steven was even more confused. “What are you talking about?”

Seeing his handsome face only fueled Zebulon’s anger. “Don’t play innocent with me!”

Naomi never expected Steven to get dragged into this. She rushed over, hitting Zebulon’s hands. “Zebulon, let him go!”
