Who’s the Dog Now? novel Chapter 99

As he spoke, Zebulon's eyes kept darting toward Naomi.

He knew she couldn't stand it.

In the past, whenever he said things like that, Naomi would shamelessly tag along.

No matter how much she disliked their games, she would just sit quietly in a corner, never daring to cause any trouble.

But now, Zebulon couldn't even see her face.

Naomi was sitting perfectly straight in her seat, as if she hadn't heard a single thing he said.

Zebulon was furious. What started as an act to get a reaction now felt like a necessity.

He pulled Tiffany close, planted a kiss on her cheek, and said with feigned excitement, "Let's go, babe!"

With that, he and Tiffany hurried out of the classroom.

The other students watched the drama unfold with mixed expressions of envy and disdain. Patricia, however, was fuming.

"Can't they go show off somewhere else? What is this nonsense!"

Her words resonated with many of the other students.

They had all spent years of their lives studying hard to get into this prestigious university. For them, getting a good education was their only path forward. They normally kept to themselves, coexisting peacefully with the rich kids who treated school like a social club.

But lately, Zebulon and his crew had been constantly showing up in their classroom, disrupting their studies and breaking their concentration. How could anyone be okay with that?

As a result, several students approached Naomi, pleading with her to get Zebulon and his friends under control.

The students tried to reason with her. "But school is for studying. The way you two act all the time... it's really distracting for everyone. Zebulon is so rich, surely he can afford to take you on dates somewhere else? We hear his friends have more properties than they can count. You could find a much more comfortable place to hang out. Isn't it too crowded at school?"

Tiffany lifted her chin proudly, her tone dripping with scorn. "But we like being at school. Besides, I have classes to attend, too. Why should I accommodate you?"

They had tried to be polite, but Tiffany's sarcastic and dismissive attitude pushed some of the more hot-tempered students over the edge.

"Who are you trying to fool, Tiffany? You think we don't know what you're really about? We were trying to be nice because you're good at putting on an act, but I suggest you cut it out. Stop trying to make everyone miserable. If you want to be a gold digger, go for it. There's no shame in planning for your future. But if you disrupt our studies again, don't be surprised when we file a formal complaint against you!"

Tiffany's eyes quickly filled with tears, and she ran back to her room, crying.

Her roommates watched the scene with cold detachment.

After all, Tiffany used to be inferior to them in every way, but now she was parading around in designer clothes, being chauffeured in luxury cars, and acting high and mighty, trying to treat them like her personal servants. They had long grown tired of her.
