Chapter 6
The media went absolutely insane, cameras flashing like crazy.
Reporters immediately started grilling her:
“Miss, are these photos real? Are you and Mr. Fraser really lovers?”
Tessa spoke seriously into the microphone:
“Absolutely real. I’ve already posted the photos online you can have tech experts verify them.”
“If they’re fake, I’ll accept full criminal responsibility!”
“As for whether we’re lovers, I’d say we’re more in love. Isn’t that right, Reid?”
Dad was clearly stunned – even with all his business experience, he was momentarily speechless.
Seeing Dad’s hesitation, Tessa quickly added:
“I was with Reid willingly – we love each other. We just had a fight this morning, so there was some arguing. Sorry you all had to witness that.”
“Look, he even arranged a special ‘Mrs. Fraser’ seat for me. Doesn’t that prove I’m in his heart?”
She was cleverly backing Dad into an impossible corner.
If he denied it, he’d be branded as someone who exploits college students, causing irreversible damage to his company.
If he admitted it to protect the company, he’d probably never escape her clutches.
Dad’s face grew darker, filled with both rage and confusion.
I couldn’t understand it either – where had that photo come from?
I leaned close to Dad’s ear and whispered:
“Where were you last night?”
Dad didn’t hesitate: “At a hotel for a meeting. I stayed there overnight and came home this morning.”
“Then she must have snuck in and taken photos at the hotel!” I said.
“But how did she get into the room? And how did she know you’d be at that hotel?”
There were still too many unanswered questions. I was sweating bullets.
Dad was deep in thought, but Tessa didn’t seem to want to give him time to think.
Fraser, won’t you acknowledge our relationship?”
–
“Your employees have all met me they recognize me as their boss lady.”

The employees!
She’d been questioning the staff at his office last night!
Some employee must have told her which hotel Mr. Fraser was meeting at!
To test my theory, I had Dad immediately ask in the company group chat if anyone had mentioned his schedule to her.
An employee quickly replied:
[That was me! She seemed really close to Mr. Fraser – I thought she was his daughter!]
I knew it!
с
Dad immediately addressed the media:
“Tessa broke into my hotel suite. I’ve already requested the hallway security footage from the hotel.”
“The truth will come out soon enough.”
Tessa started panicking, trying to play the sympathy card by grabbing my hand.
“Wren, for the sake of how I made your bed and folded your clothes, let’s just end this here.”
I yanked my hand away.
“Damn, I hate fake people most of all. Get away from me!”
Soon the hotel sent back the security footage.
The hotel said they’d received a call requesting extra towels for Mr. Fraser’s suite – he’d need them when he returned. A staff member quickly brought towels to the suite’s floor.
The moment the employee swiped the keycard, Tessa emerged from around the corner and told the staff:
“I’ll take those towels. I’ll bring them to him.”
The next second, Tessa shut the suite door.
–
“I was napping then – she must have snuck in during that window to take the fake couple photo!” Dad said angrily.
“But it was only five minutes max – I don’t sleep that deeply during naps!”
Sure enough, three minutes later Tessa crept out of the room.
ughed coldly.
“And that’s what you call sleeping with my dad last night? Are you still dreaming?”
But Tessa remained unfazed, smiling as she said:
“What? Three minutes doesn’t count as sleeping together?”
“Mr. Fraser’s getting older – he’s pretty quick. Totally understandable.”
