"That's exactly what you're going to do, you will talk to him and lure him out of the restaurant."
"Huh? Are you out of your mind? As if he's going to listen to me, haha, no way! I would just bang my head against the glass window or jump in the highest building in San Francisco rather than talk to him! Nah, never!"
"Jackeline, please, I would do everything you want, just do it for me, please?" But she just raised an eyebrow. "Oh, my God, Jack, I'll treat you for lunch for the whole weak, please---"
"No!" She shook her head.
"I will do your laundry and cook for you---"
"No!" She shook her head again.
"Fine! I'll do your laundry for the whole week, cook your breakfast, lunch and dinner for one week and even your snacks---"
"Fine, deal!"
I suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you---"
"Don't thank me yet! You don't know if I'm going to kill your brother! Hmmp!"
She stood up and I was left catching my breath as I watched her walk over to Dale's table. He was alone, checking on his wristwatch, and probably waiting for someone as his table is still empty, aside from a glass of water.
I wonder what Jack is going to do.
*******************
Jack's POV:
-'Haist, Samantha Soriano Williams! You should have to cook delicious meals for me for the whole week!'-
I couldn't help but mentally utter as I heaved my way towards the giant jerk's table. Honestly, I don't really understand why Sam doesn't want her brother to know her husband cheats on her. If I would her, I would probably ask my brother to punch my so-called husband on his balls.
I still have no idea how to get Dale's attention and lure him out of the restaurant, but as I kept getting closer to him, I noticed one of the waiters coming on my way. There are two glasses of juice in his tray which, based on its color, is certainly mango flavor.
"Hmm..."
A sneer twisted on the corner of my lips as I got a very... as in 'very' nice and exciting idea.
I walked past the jerk's table and stood in front of the waiter when he was only three feet away from my target and without a word, I took one of the glasses filled with mango juice.
"Uhm... excuse me, ma'am, but that's someone else's order."
But I smiled at him.
"Yeah, I know. But can you just get another glass for your customer?"
"But ma'am---"
"Don't worry, I'll give you a generous tip later, thanks." I winked at him as he scratched the back of his neck. His reaction was kinda funny, but I don't have enough time to notice it and laugh at him.
So, turning around... I started my plan...
-'One... two... three!'-
I pretended to trip off and
-'Bingo!'-
All the contents of the glass I was holding were literally thrown directly into Dale's face and down to his chest, soaking his jacket and inner suit to be soaked in a sweet mango juice.
"Oh, shit!" He screamed and instantly got in his feet.
"Oh, my God, I'm sorry!" I said pretending not to notice who he was.
The look on his face almost made me want to jump and roll on the floor. I swear, it's priceless, but I kept my expression serious and took the table napkin to wipe his suit.
"I'm so sorry, I tripped! Oh, my gosh, the mango juice spilt on you..." I said as I continued wiping the part of his chest. I know by that time he still didn't recognize me. Well, thanks to the glasses I was wearing.
"It's okay, you don't have to do it!" He said and quickly took the napkin from my hand.
-'Hmm... in fairness, he didn't react hysterically... or maybe because a lot of people are watching.'- I shrugged mentally.
"Jesus Christ, where are you looking, Miss and why you didn't notice your way?"
I bit my lip, trying not to burst out laughing.
"I'm really sorry, but if you want, I have an idea!" I smiled and took his hand before he could even say a word.
"What idea--- wait! Where are you taking me?" His voice came out a bit loud as I pulled him out of the restaurant.
"I'll help you dry your suit, Mister." I chuckled inside.
"Hey, it's okay, you don't have to, it will eventually dry on the air conditioning inside the restaurant."
"No, it's fine, I swear." I kept pulling him out of the restaurant.
