~~Make believing we're together, that I'm sheltered by your heart. It must have been love, but it's over now. It was all that I wanted, now I'm living without. It must have been good, but I lost it somehow. IT MUST HAVE BEEN LOVE, BUT IT'S OVER NOW. From the moment we touched 'till the time had run out~~~

We stayed outside for a few minutes before we decided to call it a night.
"Are you sure, you can walk?"
"Of course, I'm not paralyzed, duh!"
"Okay, I have to go, good night---I mean, good morning, Sam." He was about to kiss my cheek, but since I moved, the kiss landed on the corner of my lips. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to---"
"Don't mind it, it's fine, be careful while you're driving."
"Yup, I will."
"Thank you again, Paul, I enjoyed the night having you in the group."
He just nodded and smiled before opening the door to his car. I waved at him until he already disappeared on my sight.
When I turned around, a smile painted on my lips and a few seconds later, I started singing the same song again, not even knowing that someone was waiting for me in the living room. I even waved my hand in the air while the other was placed over my chest where my heart was.
"It must have been love, but it's over now. It must have been good, but I lost it somehow. It must have been love, but it's over now. From the moment we touched 'till I lost it somehow..."
I stopped right in front of the door and laughed at myself as I forgot the lyrics. And after a few moments, I decided to sing... no, the right word is to shout. I started shouting the parts I only remembered as I pushed the double wooden door.
"Make believing we're together! That I'm sheltered in your heart! It was all that I wanted, now I'm living without! So yeah--- it must have been love, but it's over now! It's finally over--- whoow!"
I suddenly lost my balance, but there were a strong pair of arms held my waist before I could even fall to the ground.
"What the hell!"
"Oops! I'm sorry--- oh, it's you! Hi, Mr Williams, we haven't seen in a long time. How are you?" I asked patting his cheeks.
"What the hell are you wearing--- wait, are you drunk?" He asked, his face turned sour as he let me stand on my own (with a slight push).
"Ouch! Why do you have to push me?"
"Are you drunk, Samantha?"
I don't know but his question made me laugh. Thanks to the spirit of alcohol that embracing me at the moment as it gives me the courage to face and talk to him. I could still remember what happened yesterday at the restaurant. And this is the second time I've been to the club with Jack and her friends, but he only noticed it now.
"It's none of your business!"
"Samantha!" He gritted his teeth.
"Oh, Mr Williams..." I giggled. "Fine, I drank but I'm not drunk. See, I can still talk to you." I don't know what's funny, but I found myself laughing again.
"Who's with you and who's that guy who sent you home?"
"Ahh..." I yawned. "I'm tired, I wanna go to my room."
I don't feel like answering his question, so I turned and walked towards the stairs. But he was fast as he instantly came in front of me and blocked my way upstairs.
"Where are you going? We're not done talking yet!"
"Huh!" I gasped, looking at him with wide eyes. "We have nothing to talk about, so let me go."
"You still haven't answered my question! Who was that guy driving you home, Samantha?"
"Oh, that guy? Uhm... it's Paul, your friend from college. Do you still remember him?" What a silly question I thought. "By the way, why are you asking if who sent me home?"
"Paul, my teammate!"
"Yes, that's him." I nodded, even though what he had said wasn't a question, but a confirmation.
"Why were you with him and why did he send you home? Where is your fucking car?"
-'Whoa!'- I was surprised by the tone he used that it left me open-mouthed in my spot.
"Why are you just staring at me? Why aren't you answering my question, why were you together? Is that why you're wearing that dress?"
And that's pulled me back to my senses. I slowly looked at the dress I was wearing... a tight black dress with spaghetti straps that perfectly showed all my curves and that only ended in my mid-thigh. Then I turned to him and couldn't help the sarcastic laugh that escaped my lips.
