~~~Everything I know about love, I learned from you. And everything I know about pain, I learned from you. You showed me lonely, you took me in when I was hurt. But the most important thing you gave me was the one that hurt the most, so thank you for the broken heart. 'Cause if it wasn't for you, I might forget how it feels to get a brand new start~~~
SAMANTHA'S POV:
"Hey, what happened to the faucet?"
"Huh?"
I was shocked to see Luke running in my direction. He took the towel from my hand which I was using to stop the water. I didn't know I was staring at him if he hadn't waved his hand in front of me.
"Ohh... I don't- I don't know. I just turned it open earlier and the handle was broken and when I tried to fix it, I accidentally pulled the whole thing off the wall."
"Okay, but how did you do that? I mean, how did you pull this off the wall or even the break the handle? Are you superwoman?"
"What the---" my words hung in mid-air when I realized his last question and I frowned at him. "Haha... it's so funny." I rolled my eyes but he just chuckled at me.
"Do you have any tools?" He asked after a few minutes.
"Yes, it's in the cabinet under the sink."
"Can you get it? I just can't put the towel down."
"O-Okay... wait..." He stepped aside and I immediately... carelessly opened the cabinet and knelt down to get the tools.
"Ohh... shit!"
I heard him groan, but since I was too focused on finding the toolbox, I didn't notice that my right hand was still holding the cabinet door and the only hand I was using for searching was my left hand. At that moment, I had no idea what I was I doing to him. My hand was exactly in front of his crotch.
"I found it!" I said, taking the box out of the cabinet and placing it over the counter.
"Okay, t-thanks."
"Do you need help?" I don't really know why the hell did I ask that question when I have no idea how to fix it. "I mean, do you want me to call someone to help you?"
"No, it's okay." He answered shortly.
"Are you sure you can fix that?" I asked him again because deep inside, I started asking if he really knows how to fix the faucet or if he has any idea about plumbing matter.
"Yeah, don't worry, I can do it." He chuckled and then glanced at me. "I think, you should go upstairs and change your clothes. I'm more worried you might catch a cold."
"Ohh...yeah."
"And you might not want the idea of someone seeing you like that."
"What---oh, Mother Mary of God!" My eyes widened in shock and blush started to creep down my face and to my neck. It was only then that I realized I was completely drenched with water and that my blouse already looked like a see-through top.
I immediately crossed my arms in front of my chest, covering my breast and hiding it from his naked eyes. Little did I know that I had already awakened his imagination.
"What are you looking at?" I asked him with a scowl.
"Oops! It's not my fault. You're wearing a transparent blouse, sweetheart." he chuckled again.
"This is not a transparent blouse!"
"Alright, whatever you want to call it."
"By the way, what are you doing here?" I asked for the first time. Yeah, what is he doing here?
"Uhm... Cali told me that she has left her phone and she asked me if I could get it."
"She has left her phone?" I repeated with knitted eyebrows.
"Yeah, and she used her Uncle Dale's phone to call me."
"Okay, I'll get it, but why didn't you just ask your secretary or someone to do it?"
"Because they were all busy and I have no one to ask to."
"Haist!" I muttered lowly.
"Don't you want to change now?" He asked with a smirk playing on the corner of his lips.
"Jeez!" I rolled my eyes at him and shook my head before leaving the kitchen.
-'Argh! What the hell happened to that freaking faucet?'- I couldn't help but ask as I made my way upstairs.
When I walked into my room, I realized something that made me frown. I talked to him. Yeah, I talked to him and we had a little, short conversation without the past that usually hindered between us.
Since I've already taken a bath earlier, I just changed my clothes into almost the same style. Well, I don't see anything wrong with wearing shorts.
