LUKE's POV:

I sighed as watched her dance as if it were the first time she ever stepped in the middle of the dance floor. It's the first time I've seen her in that state, so carefree and didn't seem to care to the world. She looked happy as she sang with the song playing on all the speakers.

But rage instantly filled me when I noticed one of the boys who I think was only 18 or 19 intentionally bumped his chest against Samantha's shoulder.

-'I think this teenager guy wants to play some dirty, I mean, deadly game!'- I muttered to myself with an evil grin curling at the corner of my lips.

I watched him smile like an idiot as he continued to dance, I immediately stepped forward when he was about to touch her.

"Don't fucking touch her, baby boy, if you don't want to find your head disconnected from your body!" I said narrowing my eyes at him.

"O-Oh, I-I am sorry. I d-didn't know she's with you." He looked so terrified when he met my eyes.

"Tss!" I sneered.

"I'm sorry, boss." And those were his last words before disappearing from my sight.

And since I wasn't dancing nor even moving, I was continually bumped, hit and pushed by some of the crazy-frustrated dancers around me, but I held my stand. I glared at them every time their hands or elbows hit my body and thanks to the blasting music and song Sam was currently singing and I didn't hear what those crazy teens mumbled about me.

"My goodness! What is he doing in the middle? He's not even moving! Does he really know how to dance?"

"Gosh! Is he paranoid or has his sanity already left his body?"

"Haha... what the hell is going on with him? Tsk. tsk. A handsome yet lunatic dude on the dance floor but doing nothing, jeez!"

I have no idea what's on the people's mind at that time. I was busy watching Samantha and some of the men eyeing her like she's their next prey.

She spent another 10 minutes and so I was.

"Ohh... I love that song!" She screamed as soon as the song stopped.

Her face didn't even show exhaustion, instead, enjoyment and satisfaction can be seen in her eyes.

"Oops, you're still here, ex-husband." She seemed surprised to see me, but honestly, I got more surprised as she mentioned the word ex-husband twice.

"I'm waiting for you. I'm going to take you home." I just said instead, holding her by the arm and trying to help her walk towards their table.

Dale has already taken Jack home while Paul has suddenly disappeared and is nowhere to be seen. I'm not sure if he already goes home or if he still at the bar... I don't know and I don't care.

"What are you doing?" Sam asked, swatting my hand that was holding her arm.

"I'm just helping you walk."

"Don't touch me, I can manage!" She glared at me and then tried to walk on her own but almost faced the ground if I hadn't grabbed her waist.

"Tss! What a stubborn woman." I mumbled with a slight chuckle that escaped my lips. But I didn't know she heard it.

"Are you laughing at me, ex-husband?" She asked loudly that made me open my mouth in shock.

-'Haist, Jesus Christ! How many times does she need to mention that word?'- I stared at her for a few seconds and then shook my head. "No, of course not! Why would I do that?" Then I held her up and helped her walked to their table.

"I want to have another shot---"

"No! That's enough, Sam!" I immediately took the glass away from her hand as I frowned.

"What the hell are you doing? Give me back that fucking glass!"

I was kinda stunned by the words she used. I've never heard her curse in the past.

"Come on, give me back that glass! I won't ask you to pay for my drinks, so give me back my drinks!"

"No, you're drunk and that's enough! Don't you know what kind of hangover tequila could give you the next morning?"

But she just stared at me and then laughed sarcastically.

"Oh, my ex-husband, do you think I didn't know that? I'm not a fucking kid anymore to not realize the hangover tequila or whatever drinks could give me!"

"Where are you going?" I asked frowning when she stood up.

"Well, since you don't want to give me those drinks, I'll go to the counter and order a new drink."

-'Good heaven!'- I immediately ran after her and stopped her from what she was planning.

"What the hell, Luke Marcuz!" She screamed so loud that caught the attention of some of the customers at the bar. Why not? Because I carried her over my shoulder. "Put me down, you fucking dude!" She tried to move and jump out of my grasp, but I didn't let her.

She continued to hit me even when we reached the parking lot, but I ignored her. I couldn't let her have another drink when I know she might have a terrible headache the next morning due to hangover.
