Chapter 1046
"Hey, Miles. Your father is the one who is going to take off your mom's wedding dress. Not you." Joanne bent down to carry the little guy away from Catelyn's dress.
Miles put on a sullen and cool face. "Why?"
"Because only the groom can take off the bride's dress," Joanne answered.
"So I can only take off my bride's wedding dress? Then does that mean the girl will be my bride if I take off her wedding dress?" Miles asked curiously.
"Err...that sounds about right. But..." Joanne nodded and suddenly felt something was wrong. When she realized it, she slapped her head from behind.
The kid was only four years old. It would be long before he found himself a bride.
Ollie pursed his lips and looked at Catelyn shyly. "Mummy, you look so beautiful today."
Catelyn pinched his puffy cheek. "So sweet of you. Did you have fun with Great-grandpa?"
When she was confirmed to be pregnant, her two sons were sent back to Mason Villa. It had been a long time since she last saw them.
Ollie nodded his head vehemently. He was already used to being together with his great-grandpa while behaving discreetly and courteously. Now that Miles had joined him in the villa, the atmosphere had become more harmonious than before.
"Then what about Miles?" Catelyn asked.
"I'm happy too! I'm going to tell you a secret. The Old Demon cant even beat me in backgammon. Now he owes me a villa. I can stay in the villa when I'm five years old!"
Miles purposely made his hand into the shape of the trumpet and showed his white teeth. Catelyn scratched his nose bridge.
"Mummy, you're going to marry Big Demon and have another baby. Will you still love Ollie and me?"
Suddenly, Miles looked at Catelyn with his big worried, and yet, hopeful eyes. Catelyn had to use some strength to carry him up. She rubbed her forehead against his. "Silly, your father and I were already married. We are only having our wedding ceremony now."
Catelyn wanted to carry Ollie too, but she really did not have any strength to do it...
"I promise both of you that we are only going to live happily ever after. Even with new members in the family, I'll still love you both like I used to."
"Miles loves Big Kitty the most!" Miles was a good kid. He knew he should not let Catelyn hold him for too long. He gave his mother a peck on the cheek and quickly jumped off.
"Big Kitty also loves you and Ollie."
Ollie was not used to the sweet and loving moments. His ears turned red because of shyness. He grabbed Miles and quickly ran off. Miles and I need to go prepare to be the flower boy. The four of US will definitely live happily in the future!"
