Chapter 1562

Previously, Edwin thought that Tail was Joanne and Patrick's daughter, but now Edwin looked closely at Tail, feeling that she resembled him.

Tail's small nose, big eyes, beautiful lips...

Edwin smiled tenderly as he walked up to Joanne and Tail.

"I've come to take you two home."

Joanne was taken aback by the familiar sexy voice from behind her. She turned her head and saw Edwin and Lucas.

Seeing the expectant smile on Edwin's face, Joanne thought for a moment and said, ’’Tail has just been rescued. I want her to stay in a familiar environment."

The moment he was refused, Edwin's handsome face darkened slightly, but he restrained his temper and said," Then how long do you plan to stay?"

"It depends on Tail's condition."

"Are you deliberately avoiding me?" Edwin's voice carried dissatisfaction. He stared at Joanne, saying, "Tail is my daughter, and you are my wife. We're a family. I promised to get Tail back. Do you still not believe my feelings for you?"

Joanne felt helpless. "But you saw your father's attitude. He won't let me and Tail go."

Thinking that Harry had once threatened Tail, Joanne was frightened. Even though Harry didn't kidnap Tail, he might harm her one day. Joanne didn't want to live in horror.

Hearing this, Edwin felt slightly better. He got down on one knee in front of her, saying affectionately, "You'll live with me, and Tail's father is me. You do not have to care about my father's opinion. I already know that four years ago, he broke us up. I have not yet settled scores with him. I will not let him hurt you two again."

But four years passed. Everything was different.

"Can you bear to let Tail grow up without her dad around?" Edwin knew very well how to persuade Joanne, coaxing and threatening her.

As she looked at the lovely Tail, Joanne's eyes glistened with tears. "If you can get Tail to accept you, I'll give you another chance."

Edwin gazed at Joanne with ecstasy. He excitedly cupped her cheeks and kissed her without much desire, but full of emotions. "I will make my daughter accept me. Joanne, just wait. You will be willing to live with me."

Joanne, seeing Edwin's thrilled face, felt relieved.

Just when Edwin felt that the kiss was getting more and more uncontrollable, a small fair hand reached Edwin's face and pushed him weakly. Tail muttered in a tender voice," You're not allowed to kiss my mommy, you bad egg."

Edwin panted and let go of Joanne's hand. Then he saw Tail looking at him warily.
