Our Billion-Worth Twins by Velvet Antler novel Chapter 565

Chapter 565

Cedrick seemed to have guessed what Catelyn was thinking, and his lips twisted into a smug smile. "He wouldn't dare to come out without my order."

"It's fine if you don't want to drink, I won't feed you."

Even if the nurse would not come out, he might still be able to hear their conversation, and that was embarrassing enough to Catelyn.

Cedrick raised his eyebrows roguishly when he heard Catelyn's reply. "I won't drink if you don't feed me."

Catelyn stared at his pale face for a while, then turned her gaze to the warm water in the cup.

The water had already become slightly cold.

"Is the corner of my mouth chapped?" Cedrick stroked the skin of the corner of his mouth as he spoke. There was a tingling sensation on the spot.

Catelyn stared at the shameless man in front of her who was painfully dehydrated. It irked her how he could continue depriving himself from water with his antics!

With a frown, she took a big gulp from the glass, held the man's head, and placed her lips on his to pour the warm water into his mouth, since Cedrick was sitting, some of the warm water slipped away from the corners of his mouth.

She cared about his wounds as she only pressed him with gentle force.

Then, Cedrick licked the corner of his mouth with a satisfying look. "It tastes pretty good. Please do it often."

He was commenting on the water, but his wolf-like eyes made Catelyn think he was commenting on her lips instead.

Her heart was about to burst out of her chest, she did not look him in the eye as she took another gulp from the glass to calm herself down.

'What a rascal! '

Cedrick stared at her for a while, then said seriously, " I was afraid of you not coming to the airport that day. I mean it."

Catelyn's heart throbbed violently as she held the glass tightly. "If I didn't go, what would you have done?"

"I never intended to let you go."

Cedrick's words hit Catelyn like a truck.

Her nose tingled as she muttered, "You like me that much?"
