Chapter 848
'Oh, now Catelyn is acting all sweet, eh?'
Cedrick could not help but sneer silently in his heart.
With one hand on the wall, his strong chest pressed against Catelyn's body. "I saw that you completely forgot me when you went back to the Athertons. I asked you to call me so we could meet, but you dare to go on a blind date? Am I dead to you already?"
"No, no!” Catelyn put her little hand gently on his chest as if coaxing a furious lion. "Grandma sent someone to watch me. There's no chance for me to meet you..."
"But there's a chance for a blind date, hmm?" sneered Cedrick.
"I wanted to meet you after the party," said Catelyn. She raised her right hand up and swore, her clear eyes looking at him aggrieved.
Meanwhile, Alfred and Jean had just finished their meal. They were chatting casually while waiting for the elevator.
Ding!
The door of the elevator opened.
What Alfred and Jean saw next startled them.
In the elevator, Cedrick was pinning a girl in the corner. His one arm was on the side of the girl's head, just blocking the sight of both Alfred and Jean.
They both could not see the girl's face clearly, but Cedrick's body was perfectly exposed.
Light poured in through the elevator door as it opened. Out of the corner of Catelyn's eyes, she caught a glimpse of two men in suits and leather shoes standing at the door. Feeling embarrassed, she quickly lowered her head and buried it in Cedrick's chest.
Cedrick's pose was slightly stiff. His nose was on the tip of her hair, and he smelled the faint fragrance of flowers. He glanced at Alfred and Jean and closed the elevator door.
They went directly to the top floor of the building.
Cedrick did not make any superfluous expressions. He pulled Catelyn straight to the hotel room, locked the door, and shoved her onto the soft bed.
Just as things were getting intense...
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Like three muffled claps of thunder, the knock suddenly came from the door, interrupting the two of them.
Cedrick ignored it and continued to kiss Catelyn passionately. However, the knocks on the door did not stop.
Catelyn said to Cedrick reluctantly, "Sounds like it's something important. Go take a look."
