Chapter 82 Sales Performance
The car exhibition ended successfully.
Jackson called Emily many times. Except for the first call that was hung up, the rest went straight to voicemail as her phone was switched off.
He persisted in calling.
Wilson watched him, feeling anxious. But he knew better than anyone that Jackson was like a powder keg, ready to explode at any moment. He touched his nose, silently standing by, too afraid to speak.
The crowds at the car exhibition had dispersed, and the sales manager came in cheerfully to report. As soon as he entered, Wilson intercepted him, quickly covering his mouth and gesturing for silence.
The sales manager nodded, indicating he understood, and Wilson released him.
"All the cars exhibited today were sold out. There were also many new orders..." The sales manager enthusiastically tapped the folder in his hands.
Wilson signed.
Jackson's current demeanor wouldn't allow him to be happy even if all his cars were sold out.
"What's wrong?" The sales manager also noticed Jackson's gloomy expression and asked Wilson in a lowered voice.
Wilson shrugged. "Who knows? He chased after Emily in a hurry today, and he's been like this since he got back."
"Emily? Which Emily?" The sales manager frowned. "Isn't she our makeup artist?"
Wilson wrinkled his brow. "Yes, exactly."
The sales manager slapped his forehead. "Oh, right, I remember now. She's the one who did a stint as a car model, right? Many people were asking me for her contact information today."
Wilson sighed helplessly. "I'm starting to regret bringing her to work in our company. She's very beautiful, skilled in makeup, and has a good personality, but she's too attractive to men. Now even our boss is attracted to her!"
"To be honest, beautiful women are big trouble. When Emily first came, she was dressed so plainly, but the next day, she transformed. Not to mention our boss, many wealthy men can't take their eyes off her with just one glance."
Wilson shrugged. "It's a pity. I think Emily seems to have no interest in our boss at all. Our boss loves a girl , but it seems to end in heartbreak."
The sales manager gasped. "Really? She actually rejected our boss's advances? Does she want a richer man?"
"I don't think so," Wilson said. "She doesn't seem like a gold digger. I guess she has someone in her heart, so she keeps rejecting our boss."
As they were talking, they saw Jackson walking towards them with a dark expression.
They quickly fell silent.
Jackson glanced at the sales manager and frowned. "Speak."
