Blanca was never weak and she had her own dignity and self-esteem. She and Matthew were equal and he had no right to do just whatever he liked to her just because he was the president of the Empire Group.
She would not surrender!
“Matthew...”
Elizabeth tried to say something but Curtis covered her mouth. Seeing Blanca sitting over there and looking elsewhere uneasily, Matthew felt quite irritated.
Why would this girl mess up his mind?
“Blanca, your arms are hurt.”
Matthew repeated stubbornly. He was seldom this careful in front of other people. And this time he just eased up his tone.
Then Blanca looked at her arms and found some scratches. She smiled bitterly and said, “It’s nothing. No need to make a fuss.”
After all, why would a slum dog matter to him?
Feeling that he was staring at her coldly, Blanca was about to cry. She looked up and tried her best not to shed a tear but her eyes still got red. She gave a pretty smile and said, “Thank you for asking. If there is nothing I can do for you, then I’ll be on my way.”
The last sentence was said to the officer.
The officer waved his hand. If she was not a kidnapper, then of course she could leave.
But Matthew kept frowning.
Was Blanca mad at him?
Blanca walked to the door as Matthew was struggling. He didn’t know if he should run after her or not. But his pride and dignity didn’t allow him to do so.
“Hey! Why are you so ungrateful? Matthew is...”
Elizabeth couldn’t stand it and grabbed Blanca’s arms.
