Ernest Butler.
There was a bright moon but only sparse stars in the sky. The moonlight spilled through the French window from the outside shining on the floor of the villa and casting a faint shadow.
Blanca was holding her phone, frowning deeply.
Early in the day, Matthew finally told her the truth. It turned out that the pendant belonged to his teacher Ernest Butler...
“Oh... Mrs. Grant, why did you leave the lights off? What are you doing in the dark?”
Mrs. Brown was out and just arrived home with a basket in her hand. She was at the supermarket getting vegetables and other ingredients for breakfast tomorrow. She thought there was no one home seeing there were no lights on!
“You are back, Mrs. Brown.” Blanca put down her phone and put on a smile. She acted as if she was looking at something great and got in closer. Mrs. Brown felt flattered, “Oh, Mrs. Grant. You seem so happy, any good news today?”
“Haha, I am happy every day, aren’t I?” Blanca was grinning. She held Mrs. Brown and both of them sat down on the couch.
Matthew had to work overtime tonight and he assumed it would be a late-night so he specially asked Curtis to escort Blanca home.
As soon as she came home, she looked up news and information about Ernest Butler online. However, Ernest Butler seemed very mysterious and Blanca couldn’t find anything in the end.
That was why...
That Blanca was hoping Mrs. Brown would know something helpful.
