Brad, who hadn't been gratified for ages, had no plans of letting Nadine off this time.

He expected her to satiate his desires as his legal wife. He disliked sleeping with other women as he was already accustomed to her. Only she could quench his thirst.

Without hesitation, he sealed her lips with a fervent kiss, silencing the curses she was about to hurl at him. His slightly cool hand slipped under the covers. He grabbed her waist and devoured her lips.

Unwilling to be at his mercy, she seized the chance to nip at his tongue as it entangled with hers.

"You bastard! Fuck off, Brad! You're dirty as heck! Don't touch me with those hands that have been on Jean!"

Mentioning Jean would always send him into a fit of rage. No matter what he was doing at the time, he'd warn her that she didn't deserve to bring Jean up.

Nadine had mentioned her name twice today to aggravate him, yet she still couldn't make him get off her. A jolt of panic coursed through her.

Brad instantly sensed the metallic tang of blood in his mouth after she bit him. The sharp pain shocked him out of his rage.

He spat the blood out of his mouth and grabbed her chin. His strength was overwhelming, and soon her chin grew red.

Frowning in pain, she gritted out, "You think you're so high and mighty for bullying women. Do you think Jean will still want you if she finds out that you're this violent?"

Initially, Nadine had intended to have a proper discussion with him when she came back. But just because he accused her of causing a fuss over Jean and claimed that she was just back for treatment, she completely lost it.

She had loved him for six years, even though her love wasn't reciprocated. It wasn't until Jean's appearance did she realized how docile she'd become.
