"Do you have no shame? How can you bully a defenseless child? Are you not afraid your ancestors will rise from their graves to curse you?"
Nadine was livid. She unleashed a torrent of curse words and insults directed at Brad. What a scumbag! He was so low that he would bully a child. He wasn't fit to be human at all!
While cursing, Nadine tried to wrench Sean away from Brad, but the latter was simply too big and tough. No matter how much she slapped him, he seemed impervious to pain.
Not only that, he even grabbed her wrist as she jumped up to hit him. "Have I been too kind to you, Nadine?"
How dare she use her shoes to hit him? Her audacity was off the charts! If he didn't deal with her now, she might start thinking she was untouchable.
At this moment, the scene at the Hamilton Estate's front gate was unlike any other. Nadine's shouting, Sean's coughing, and Brad's yelling created a unique spectacle.
The maids stood on either side, too fearful to intervene. They didn't dare offend either of the two. Each of them shrank back, wishing they could disappear into the ground.
Sean was choking and coughing hard, and his face was flushed red. Nadine was heartbroken over Sean's distress.
Knowing she couldn't overpower Brad, she discarded her shoes and lunged at Brad's hand, biting him fiercely. She wished she could bite a chunk out of him.
She hated Brad as much as she loved him, and biting him was the least she could do.
Brad winced in pain and drew a sharp breath. He had to let go of Nadine's wrist to check the bite mark on his hand. Seizing the opportunity, Nadine grabbed Sean and dashed off with one bare foot.
Once she had Sean safely on the ground, she gently patted his back. As she looked at his red face, her eyes filled with concern.
"Baby, how are you feeling now? Are you okay?"
