Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 396

"Don't expect any help from me in the future if you leave now," he said coldly, turning his back on her.

Evelyn sighed deeply and embraced him from behind, pressing her soft body against his. "Must you be so difficult when I'm in trouble?" she said gently.

She continued, "After all these years, don't you understand my feelings for you? Even though I'm married to that old man, my heart belongs to you. If it weren't for the money from the Hamilton family, I wouldn't be dealing with him at all. You've benefited from that money as well. Do you really want to end up with nothing?"

Her words seemed to appease him. He held her chin and gave a firm bite to her jaw. "Alright, I'll let you go this time, but don't think I won't make you pay for this later."

He gave her a final pat on the rear. "Give me a kiss and hurry back."

Relieved, Evelyn quickly kissed him, dressed up, and hurried back to Hamilton Estate.

When she arrived at Phoenix Villa, Evelyn noticed all the maids gathered outside Brad's bedroom on the second floor. Her heart skipped a beat as she wondered if Jean had succeeded.

When Evelyn saw the maids neatly lined up with their eyes fixed on the bedroom, she felt a surge of satisfaction. It seemed likely that Jean had succeeded in her plan.

She envisioned the chaos if Nadine were here to witness this scene. Unfortunately, she wasn't present to witness it.

An alert maid saw Evelyn and announced, "Mrs. Hamilton has returned!"
