Nadine showed no mercy this time. Brad winced in pain and had no choice but to pull his hand back.

Massaging the back of his hand, he glared at Nadine. "And you still claim you haven't cheated? What the hell do you call your relationship with him, then?

"I shouldn't have stepped in the last time he messed with you. After all, you seemed to be enjoying yourself! Hell, I should've recorded the whole thing and posted it online for everyone to see what a 'match made in heaven' you two are!"

He was so enraged that he was spitting out the nastiest things he could think of, completely forgetting why he was there in the first place. His eyes blazed when he watched Tyler pull Nadine behind him.

"Get back here, Nainde Scott! I'm your husband! What you're doing right now is no different from cheating!" In his fit of anger, he said things he didn't mean.

Brad was blinded by jealousy. He was nothing like the gentle man he once was. Worried that Brad might lose control and hurt Nadine, Tyler hastily pulled her behind him. "Get out of here, Nad! I've got this!"

Nadine had no intention of dealing with Brad's madness. Without a second thought, she said, "Thanks, Tyler! I'll be going then. I'll buy you dinner later!" As soon as her words fell, she was already a few feet away.

Looking at Brad, who was glaring at her menacingly, she stuck out her tongue and made a face at him. "Mr. Hamilton, you're the one who cheated, not me! The fact that I didn't plaster your affair with Jean all over the Internet is the biggest favor I could've done for you, so don't push your luck!

"Hurry up and sign the divorce agreement! Then, you can be with your one true love, and you won't have to deal with annoying old me every day! Doesn't that sound wonderful?" With that, she darted into the elevator and vanished from Brad's sight.

With his arms crossed, Tyler stood at the door to the hospital room, effectively stopping him from pursuing Nadine. Once he was sure Nadine was long gone, he smiled at Brad, amusement dancing in his eyes.
