Robert’s room in the nursing home had been changed; they moved to a separate villa–a whole building owned by the Fisher Family. 

At first sight of the villa, Elisa quickly realized that the Fisher Family was probably not just an ordinary family, but she didn’t ask any further questions. 

When Elisa followed Charles to the nursing home, the lobby lights were still on. As they entered, Elisa saw the elderly person sitting in the lobby. 

“Isn’t this the old man she saw at the restaurant?‘ she thought. 

She quickly composed herself and said, “Sir, what are you doing here?” 

“Does it hurt?” He asked, looking at her head. She felt awkward with the affectionate tone of the man in front of her; he reminded her a lot of her late grandfather. 

“Oh, this?” She pointed to her head, saying, “It doesn’t hurt. 

She shook her head, but that movement made her dizzy, and she needed to lean on something. 

“Don’t move. Sit down quickly,” John said, supporting Elisa, who sat back in the sofa. “The injury is severe. How can you not feel it?” He asked, leaving Elisa surprised by his concern. 

He seemed like a grandfather worrying about his granddaughter.

“Mr. John!” Charles‘ surprised voice came. He held the receipt and the medicine in his hand. Afterward, he quickly walked towards us with a smile. 

“Charles!” Old Mr. Smith greeted the man. 

Elisa looked at the two, oblivious to how they knew each other. 

She felt like her brain would stop running. Why did Charles know this gentleman? 

“Sir, when did you come to New York?” Charles asked. 

“Charles, it seems that Elisa doesn’t know who I am. Please introduce me to her!” He said. 

Charles began the introductions. 

“Miss, this gentleman in front of you is John Fischer, Robert’s grandfather and Madame Fischer’s father- in–law,” He replied. 

Elisa was surprised. She didn’t know she had been so close to someone from the Fischer family, except for Madame. 

Soon after returning from her senses, she replied, “Mr. Fischer, it’s you! I’m sorry, I was so rude for not knowing you.” 

Instantly, Jolin showed a loving smile. 

“It’s okay, Elisa, I know you,” Old Mr. Smith said gently.

“I heard you were admitted to the hospital and was very worried. I wanted to know if you were hurt.” 

“I’m fine, Mr. Fisher. Thank you for your concern. Elisa replied gratefully. 

“I heard from Anna that you call her mom, so you should call me grandpa too,” Old Mr. Smith’s tone was like that of a child, making Elisa feel a bit awkward. 

“Alright, grandpa… 

Robert’s room. 

On this day, Robert cooperated with Smith’s treatment. They finally concluded that a ten–minute video could last a maximum of half a day. 

As long as Robert does not have headaches, he will be normal. Doctor Smith even tried other types of audio for therapy, but it didn’t work. It had to be that one, and he even tried to hire a professional to see if it was because of the waves or the way the audio was made. When Robert heard what she was trying to do, a thought immediately crossed his mind. Elisa’s voice also had a therapeutic effect on him. 

However, he didn’t say anything to the doctor. Even though her voice was the same and had the same effect, he didn’t want to let the woman help in his treatment. Upon thinking about the nervousness she made him before, Robert was determined that he didn’t want to pretend anymore. He could wake up in front of her. He didn’t want to spend a day with that woman. 

Before eight o’clock, Charles went to rescue the woman. It was almost midnight, but he didn’t know the situation yet, and neither of them had returned, which made him uneasy. 

Suddenly, he heard a commotion of footsteps outside. After some time, the door of the room was opened. 

“Miss Smith, I asked Charles to return Elisa’s medical exams. Could you see if there is any problem that the hospital doctor didn’t see? Also, do you think she needs to undergo further tests? If so, could you arrange it, please?” 

Robert frowned when he heard that voice. It was his grandfather’s voice. What was he doing here, he left so far from home? 

“Of course, sir, I will take a look. The doctor responded, taking the medical exams. 

Her calm face changed to worry when she looked at what she saw. She didn’t imagine that the young girl had gone through something. “Was Elisa hit by someone? The injury is quite serious.” 

“Yes, she was!” Charles replied, nodding his head. 

‘Charles let her get hurt?” 

When Robert heard this, he slowly opened his eyes. At this moment, all eyes were on Elisa, and no one was paying attention to him. 

He saw that Eliza had a bandage wrapped around her head, and there were wounds on her checks. 

Her eyes were red and swollen. For a moment, he felt sorry for her, and his grandfather, who was by the young girl’s side, paid attention to every word Dr. Smith spoke. He had never seen his grandfather like 

this.
