Chapter 25 

Charles arrived at the agreed time to pick up Elisa, but he didn’t see her.

Feeling puzzled, he noticed a bag on the ground, and his heart skipped a beat. He recognized the bag–it belonged to Elisa. 

Charles immediately dialed Doctor Smith’s number. Meanwhile, Doctor Smith was examining Robert. 

When he received Charles’s call, her face turned pale. 

Robert instantly realized that something was wrong 

“What’s going on?” Robert asked. 

“Mr. Robert, it’s about Elisabeth. Doctor Smith said urgently. “Charles called to say that Elisa had been kidnapped. It’s likely her father’s doing.” 

Robert frowned, his subordinates instinctively clenching the sheets. 

“That damn woman is cunning. How could she fall so easily into someone else’s trap? Nah, don’t be bothered by what happened to her,” Robert calmly replied as if it was nothing. 

With that, Robert closed his eyes. However, scenes of the woman telling him stories, giving him messages, and even pretending he was dead kept replaying in his mind. 

“Damn it!” 

Doctor Smith sighed. She was about to leave when she heard some movement behind her. She turned around to see that Robert, lying there, had opened his phone and was making a call to someone. 

“Frank, help me find someone…” 

Doctor Smith felt a glimmer of hope–Mr. Robert still cared for Elisa. 

Robert hung up the phone and soon received a text message. He immediately forwarded the message to Charles and instructed Smith to inform Charles to hurry to the location provided in the message. 

Charles felt a tightness in his chest when he saw the bag on the ground. 

After arriving at the destination, Charles quickly located the vehicle with the license plate number from the text message. He accelerated and drifted to block the vehicle’s path. 

“Can you move out of the way? You’re blocking the road!” The driver stuck his head out and yelled at Charles. 

Elisabeth seized the opportunity and bit the man’s hand with force, which was covering her mouth. 

“Damn it!” The man yelled in pain, dragged his hair, and banged on the car window again, but without trying to harm the woman’s face. After all, they would record the video later. 

Charles heard the movement in the car and immediately approached cautiously. 

Charles went to the car and caught a glimpse of Elisa inside. Without saying a word, he punched the

The driver was startled, and the broken glass fell on him, causing several cuts on his face. The car door was unlocked, and Charles immediately opened it. 

When Elisabeth saw Charles, tears rose, and she shouted, “Charlest 

Charles punched the man, and the blonde hair was beaten to the point of looking like gold. Then he helped Elisabeth out of the car, and when he saw the young woman’s appearance, a trace of anger surged in his heart. He took off his jacket and put it on her shoulders. 

“Wait for me in the car!” He instructed. 

Elisa ran towards the parked car. Charles took a step forward and pulled the man with blonde hair out, and another punch greeted the man’s face, causing him to fall to the ground, writhing in pain. Blood continued to flow from his mouth, and two teeth fell into the pool of blood. 

The other two were also frightened and hid in the car, not daring to come out. Charles approached, grabbed the driver, pulled him down, and stepped on his leg. The driver knelt on the ground with a mask of pain on his face. 

The other person took a few steps back and tried to run, but Charles chased after him. Suddenly, he discovered that the man was banging on the car door and froze momentarily. Elisa got out of the car. 

Charles looked at the figure and inexplicably felt that this little girl was trembling. He dragged the three of them together, and Elisa was not afraid. She squatted down and looked into the face of one of them. 

“Who ordered my kidnapping?” Elisabeth asked the blonde–haired man, whom she believed to be the leader of the other men. 

The once arrogant man was now completely different, trembling with fear. 

“It was… It was Miss Armani. Mrs. Barson hired her,” The man admitted the truth while still in pain. 

So, Armani just asked the three of them to kidnap Elisa and force her to record a video of clarification and apology to Jorge Barson. Still, Mrs. Barson found them separately and gave them extra money to do whatever they wanted without scruples. And also make a video of them playing. After the video was recorded, she would give them a large sum of money, and since the man was afraid of Charles, he didn’t dare to lie in any word. 

Elisabeth understood it was not enough for Suclen to let her marry Robert. She also wanted to eradicate 

her. 

“Ma’am, how do you want to deal with these people?” Charles asked softly. 

“Call the police and file a lawsuit against all of them,” she calmly replied, as it would be convenient for her to operate later. 

“Okay,” Charles nodded. 

Mr. Fischer was about to go to bed when the housekeeper knocked on his door.. 

“Sir, something happened with the young lady,” the maid anxiously reported. 

Old Mr. Fisher, John immediately sat up and asked quickly, “What happened?” 

“When she left the hospital and waited for Charles to pick her up, some thugs almost kidnapped her.

Luckily, Charles arrived on time, and she managed to escape,” explained the maid. 

John’s face became serious and frightening, anger pulsing within him.. 

“And now, where is Elisabeth? How did Charles handle this?” Mr. John asked, going over there.

“Charles said he dealt with it according to Miss Elisabeth’s orders. They called the police and filed a report, and then they went to the hospital to examine both Charles and the young lady’s injuries.”

The maid continued, “And also, I found out the cause. This incident is related to the Barson family, as Elisa reported Jorge in a supposed corruption scheme, and because of that, Jorge hired a public relations company to handle it. They even slandered the young lady.” 

John nodded his head, listening to every word attentively. 

The maid continued, “And I found out that Elisa is also Jorge Barson’s daughter, but even so, he is trying to harm her.”
