Leila’s harsh words slash through Tatum’s heart ferociously, inflicting a gruesome pain on him. He was hoping she would deny it, that she would lie to him but she didn't.

“Why did you even banish him? What did he ever do to you?” Leila raises her voice as tears break forth from her eyes and it breaks Tatum’s heart even further.

Another pang hits Tatum’s heart, her reminder that he broke his promise cuts deep into him with pain. He will do anything to take that night back but it is too late now, Leila sees Kelvin as a more capable man than him.

“Nothing would have happened to you. Do you really think me that weak, not to be able to defend my own Luna?”

Leila stares into his cold eyes with raw emotions and he can see the pain in her eyes, her fear and concern for Kelvin seeps out of her pores and it only hurts him more.

“I don’t know Tatum, I don’t know if you are weak but Carmela broke the law multiple times and I never saw you punish her, is she– above the law?” Leila asks with venom in her tone, her teary eyes full of pain.
