President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again novel Chapter 23

Beth ignored Kathy and went straight to Mrs. Johnson.

“Mother!”

“I am Beth! Please tell them that I never intended to murder you! Please!”

She cried hoarsely. Beth pinned all her hope on Mrs. Johnson.

As Beth went closer, Mrs. Johnson only felt more pain. She leaned in the arms of Mr. Johnson, clinging tightly to her hair.

“Go out! You go out!”

“I don’t know what you are talking about! Who are you? Go out now!”

They said Kathy was her daughter. Then who is this person right in front of her?

She couldn’t figure out why the moment she saw this girl she felt so sad and overwhelmed with melancholy.

Beth staggered a little, “Mother! I am Beth!”

“You must recall. You must...”

‘I need to save my brother! I need your help!”

At this critical moment, how could her mother lose memory?

Mr. Johnson snapped, “Shut it! Can’t you see the fear of your mother? You are shameless! If you were not our daughter, I would have sent you to jail!”

“Your mother is reduced to this condition. And you should come to provoke her for that loser in the jail instead of caring about her.”

Mr. Johnson was so furious, “Remember my words. I will not let go of that scumbag. Being with him has made you become so vicious. I swear I would break his leg in the jail!”

What?

Break Jacky’s leg?

Beth went ghastly white immediately, “No... no...”

Mr. Johnson told the bodyguard outside the door, “Drive her out of the hospital. Never allow her to be one step closer to the hospital.”

“Please, father! I beg you! Please don’t hurt Jacky.” Beth piteously implored him.

Mr. Johnson turned his back and never looked at Beth again.

In his eyes, this daughter of them was led astray by the bad upbringing of that family and was entirely apathetic to her real parents.

Such being the case, he could give up this daughter.

The bodyguards of the Johnson came in and clamped Beth to drag her out.

Beth cried all along the way but was still driven out of the hospital.

Aaron witnessed all this indifferently.

Kathy, who was in his arms now, smiled secretly.

‘Beth! You deserve it! Soon enough, you will lose everything.’

Because of Mr. Johnson’s order, Beth couldn’t go to the hospital to visit Mrs. Johnson, so she could elicit nothing from her.

As she was figuring out ways to save Jacky, she received a video.

The person in the video is Jacky, being beaten by a bunch of people.

A knife! They stabbed a knife into his leg!

The instant that the knife was jabbed into his leg Jacky screamed.

Blood sprayed out. Watching this, Beth was drenched in tears. It was heartrending.

“No! No! Jacky!”

Her brother must not be harmed. She must rescue him.

She couldn’t resort to Mr. Johnson because it was him who instigated these people.

Then who could help her?

The only person Beth could think of now was Aaron.

“I will consider.” he smiled frostily.

Beth walked tensely to the tea table and was to open a bottle of wine.

A playboy said, “Are you only capable of opening bottles? I've heard that you are good friend with the ace Jessica in Shades. So can you do what she can?”

Jessica...the thought of this name made Beth' hands tremble a little.

“She lost in our wine game. We put a rope around her neck and asked her to creep like a dog. Can you do this?”

Dog? She couldn't believe this.

Suddenly Beth wanted to run away. But she couldn't. Jacky could not wait any longer.

A little humiliation is worthy as long as Aaron can help her.

Surrounded by people, Aaron said plainly, “We will play something different today.”

The sudden weakness in her legs made her stumble. His words were like a blade sticking into her riddled heart.

Something different?

Beth turned back stiffly and said hoarsely, “What's different?”

“I can do anything if you ask for it.”

She can do everything to save her brother.

She forced a smile, though anguished within.

She acted like a woman of easy virtue, caring nothing about her decency and even willing to be stripped off if asked.

A wave of anger welled up to Aaron's heart after seeing her gesture. His eyes turned colder. Aaron reached for a bottle of wine on the tea table.

He smashed the red wine bottle hard to the ground. The enormous sound of broken glass crashing to the floor was loudly jarring.

Aaron slowly stood up, like a stately king. He raised his finger to the glass pieces and said disdainfully, “Kneel.” His voice was bone-chilling.

“Lick it clean.”
