After all the trouble Eleanor and Bailee went through, they finally arrived at Starry Gemworks during the lunch break.
"Don't worry, Mr. Ware. Bailee is very reliable. Once she commits, she won't jump ship. We're in the company lobby now. Can you please come down and take us?
"And since it's Bailee's first day, please don't keep the celebration too late. It's unsafe for a young lady to head home alone."
Brigham's secretary, Zaid Ware, must have said something reassuring on the other end of the line because Eleanor hung up with a smug expression.
She then said to Bailee, "Don't worry, Bailee. For a talent like you, even if you're hours or days late, they wouldn't dare dismiss you. Mr. Ware said he'll come down to meet you now."
The security guard and receptionist in the lobby exchanged puzzled glances as they observed Eleanor and Bailee. Their behavior was even more brazen than that of the Hansen family's relatives.
However, they knew the Hansen family members but had no idea who these two were.
Bailee gave a slight smile and said, "When I see Mr. Ware, I'll ask him to make me a permanent employee right away. A three-month probation period is for people without skills. I don't need it."
Eleanor nodded in approval. "That's my daughter—always thinking big! You're so clever!"
Yolanda originally planned to have Brigham handle Bailee's matters professionally after their meeting. But after hearing their conversation, she felt that she should have him let Bailee go immediately.
Soon, Bailee and Eleanor spotted Yolanda entering through the main door.
