Rebirth of the Deadly Beauty novel Chapter 150

In truth, Bailee felt a twinge of jealousy. She had wanted to attend First Academy but was unable to.

Yvonne was one thing, but why did Yolanda, of all people, get in? Was it just because she was born into a wealthy family, so she could take all the advantages of that for granted?

As Bailee thought about this, a flicker of envy appeared in her eyes, and her tone grew sharper and more cutting.

"Not only are your grades poor, but you're also so ugly. Even sweeping the streets would be a blemish on the city. If I were you, I'd just stay home to avoid embarrassing my family!"

Yolanda's gaze grew colder at Bailee's words. In that moment, Yolanda could clearly feel the original Yolanda's frustration and sense of injustice.

She must have heard such biting remarks often, which led to her growing self-doubt and eventual self-destructive behavior.

However, Yolanda wasn't interested in arguing with Eleanor and Bailee. She didn't see the need to waste time confronting them when a simple call could solve everything.

Ignoring Eleanor's and Bailee's hostility, she walked straight to the front desk of Starry Gemworks. "I'm here to see Brigham."

"You're looking for Mr. Holt?" The receptionist looked surprised.

"Ha! Who do you think you are to see Mr. Holt?" Eleanor snorted disdainfully at Yolanda's request.

"Exactly! Even I can't see Mr. Holt!" Bailee added with a mocking tone. "You're really clueless and stupid!"

"Do you have an appointment with Mr. Holt? He doesn't meet with anyone without an appointment."

The receptionist's attitude turned slightly condescending as Yolanda didn't seem like someone who knew Brigham.

Yolanda said nothing. She simply dialed Brigham's number. "I'm here."
