When Eleanor and Bailee saw the young man, they both greeted him with smiles. "Mr. Holt."
However, Brigham didn't even glance at them and went straight to Yolanda's side. "I've made a reservation, Ms. Henderson."
Upon seeing that, Eleanor and Bailee stood there and stared at Brigham, dumbfounded. Brigham actually knew Yolanda? How did the useless Yolanda get to know the general manager of Starry Gemworks?
And judging by Brigham's attitude, it didn't seem like Yolanda was just trying to ingratiate herself. What was going on?
When Yolanda met Brigham today, she noticed that he had noticeably toned down his demeanor. He was speaking to her with much more friendliness.
"Here's a prescription for your grandpa. Make sure you pass it along when you get back."
"Okay." Brigham nodded and casually looked at Eleanor and Bailee. He pointed at Bailee and asked, "Is this the graduate you wanted me to arrange a position for?"
"What?" Eleanor and Bailee were both horrified. They had never expected that the job really was arranged by Yolanda.
"Mr. Holt, wasn't it because you admire my design talent?" Bailee asked stubbornly. She couldn't accept that her job offer was due to Yolanda's intervention.
Upon hearing Bailee's question, the Starry Gemworks employees who had been watching from afar felt speechless. What made her think her talent was so exceptional that she deserved special treatment?
Yolanda gave Bailee a faint smile and said to Brigham, "Since she's so confident in her talent, let her follow the proper procedures."
With that, she turned and walked toward the door. Brigham paused for a moment, then understood the situation.
He immediately instructed Zaid, "Arrange an interview for her."
