Rebirth of the Deadly Beauty novel Chapter 173

Faced with the ridicule of those around him, Harold wished he could just disappear into a crack in the ground. It was so embarrassing!

He felt like he could kill Yolanda at that moment. But at the same time, he also knew that losing his temper in front of everyone would only make him look worse.

Isaiah sneered. "You've embarrassed yourself enough already! I've been a credit manager here for so long, and I've never seen anyone so arrogant!"

"I wouldn't believe it if you say the Hendersons have no connections in Creybia!" he added sarcastically.

His words drew another round of laughter from the surrounding employees. Harold's face turned pale. He realized that nothing he said would matter now.

He decided to just grab Yolanda and leave. But to his surprise, he found he couldn't pull her away.

Across from him, Lucia was watching Yolanda with keen interest. She wondered why this seemingly ordinary student dared to challenge her and the entire Union Bank.

She wondered if it was because of her experience in a juvenile detention center that messed with her personality.

"Alright. Since you say you want to fire us, let's see you try!" Lucia said mockingly, her eyes filled with sarcasm and disdain.

"Madam Clark, you really can joke," one of the security guards standing behind Lucia chimed in.

"You're the youngest and most outstanding bank manager among all branches of Union Bank. Who would dare fire you?"

"Exactly! Without you as our bank manager, we wouldn't know how to do our jobs!"

"If she thinks she can get you fired, she's just dreaming!"
