Rebirth of the Deadly Beauty novel Chapter 527

Knox had never seen Julie before in his life. He also didn't know where she had gotten the courage and audacity from to go against him.

Julie marched in swiftly in her three-inch stilettos, with her nose up arrogantly in the air. Her eyes were filled with disdain and contempt, perfectly portraying the image of a wealthy princess from Creybia looking down at the poor, downtrodden small-towners.

"Ms. Monroe."

"Good afternoon, Ms. Monroe."

The employees of Caldwell Antiques greeted Julie respectfully as she marched in.

Julie approached them, her attitude high and mighty as she conveniently ignored those who had greeted her.

Knox looked at Julie with an amused expression and sneered, "Are you here to stand up for Edna?"

"That's right." Julie nodded and replied to Knox with utmost confidence.

"There are consequences to pay for standing up for others without a care, little girl."

Knox completely disregarded Julie. In Riverdale, he had never been afraid of anyone else other than Vic and Yolanda. Not many people would dare cross him.

"Before you look for trouble, you'd better do your research beforehand to know who backs this shop." Julie scorned coldly.

"Since you've already made things clear, Mr. Seinfield, I won't beat around the bush anymore. I'll tell you directly. Caldwell Antiques and Edna are under my care.

"Your identity has nothing against me. Of course, right now, I can't do anything to you either, so let's not waste more time.

"Your father, Vic, might have a lot of influence here in Riverdale, but I'm not without support as well. His position is higher than your father's."

"What arrogant bullshit." Knox clapped slowly as the amusement in his eyes heightened.

"No one has dared to be so rowdy on my turf. Since you said you're of a substantial background with powerful support, pray tell. Who supports you?
