The members of the Sword Spirit Sect exchanged confused glances, unsure as to why Timothy gave such an order.
Before they could respond, however, a man in white appeared. Rocky had seen the man several times and he was Timothy's personal guard. He dragged Miguel to the front and made him kneel.
"Leader, why do you punish me? I did nothing wrong! I just got rid of the man that could've put our sect at risk!" Miguel pleaded. Obviously, he was still under the impression he'd done the sect a huge favor.
"You will go to the icy cliff to ponder on your faults. You won't be allowed to leave until I say so!" Timothy suddenly sighed. "Our Sword Spirit Sect owes Basil too much." Without even casting a glance at his godson, he then abruptly left.
Hannah, on the other hand, took a look at Miguel. Shaking her head in disappointment, she then walked over to Ramon, who had Tessa in his arms, and said, "Let's go."
Ramon nodded and followed Hannah's lead.
On the other side, after Rocky was taken away from the Sword Spirit Sect, he was taken away by the elder of the Sovereign Pavilion. Because Benedict knew that if Rocky was taken to the Sovereign Pavilion, he would probably be crippled even if he wasn't killed. So he didn't ask about it and directly took his members back to the Grand Sky Sect.
"I really don't understand what the elder is thinking! We went through such lengths to catch this guy!"
"He killed Knox. Anyway, he will die. I would rather kill him right now!"
"I heard that the elder also wanted him dead, but it seems that someone persuaded him to let that guy live."
"Really? Is he significant in any way?"
The team led by the elder of the Sovereign Pavilion continued to grumble. Rocky was not some big shot, but the elder personally led the team to catch him. It was rather confusing for the team members.
Rocky could hear everything they said. Choosing to keep quiet, he couldn't help but bear a cold expression. He knew he could escape if he really wanted to. However, he had a hunch that something was at play here, and he wanted to see how it panned out.
In the dead of night, the team escorted Rocky to a remote and deserted cliff.
'I suppose they're not going to take me back to the Sovereign Pavilion,' Rocky wondered.
About two hours later, they made it to the top of a cliff. A cold wind blew and ruffled their clothes. Everyone couldn't help but shiver, from the cold and the chilling atmosphere.
"This should be the spot," the elder said with a wave of his hand. "Leave him here. Let's go!"
"Are you really going to leave me here like this?" Rocky frowned.
"If you can make it down the cliff alive today, then you're a lucky guy. If you can't, well, then you should blame yourself for you offended the wrong person," the elder said abruptly.
"Did I offend anyone?" Rocky asked in confusion.
Without gracing him with an answer, the elder and the team left Rocky there.
Watching their receding figures, Rocky narrowed his eyes. Studying his surroundings carefully, he felt that there was an unusual aura in the air, but he couldn't describe it.
After hesitating for a moment, he decided to take a step forward...
