"You still remember me?" Rocky replied with a sheepish smile.

"Mary, he wants to take part in the interview. Can you include him?" Juey asked.

"Him? He is not even a spirit manipulator. He is not eligible for the interview," Mary answered without batting an eyelash.

"We accepted an apprentice who was not a spirit manipulator before. He could learn the cultivation method once he joined our clan," Juey argued. She knew that if Rocky was talented enough, he could enroll and learn the skill from scratch even if he was not a spirit manipulator.

"Stop it! If father finds out, he will reprimand you." Mary frowned as if disgusted with Juey's unreasonable request.

"Father is not here, and he doesn't have to know. I think he is talented. Just let him have a try. You can always dismiss him if he performs poorly." Juey took another shot in defending Rocky.
